While we may not wake to the kind of monsters our children may dream about, our phones often present metaphorical monsters like the pressure to perform, comparison, fear, and busyness, shaping our perception of reality. Establishing intentional waking and sleeping habits, such as starting the day with prayer and scripture instead of diving into devices, and ending it with moments of connection and reflection, can help reclaim control over our relationship with technology and prioritize restorative rest.
