  • Headlines: Nation Against Nation, Kingdom Against Kingdom
    Jan 28 2026

On this week’s headline podcast, Tim and Mary take on some of the huge changes that are causing societal upheaval. First we talk about the entirety of the climate hoax and how it appears that nations and institutions are backing off a bit on the hysteria. Why? Because, well, it’s a hoax and while they will never admit that, the economics of it tells the tale of the tape. Not only is the stodgy legacy media going dark about it, but the UK itself is feeling “the heat” of failure in the form of manufacturing decline and citizen suffering on a day to day level. Then we take on some pretty sad immigration tales, such as Ireland, which is finding its people being replaced by the diversity of illegal immigration. When we have to ask “what is an Irishman anyway?”, it’s gone too far but no one is available currently to stop it. We also look at other dynamics of such policies, and who is Amelia, anyway? You can’t make this stuff up. Another full hour of watching the world go down the tubes, yet pointing upward to the greatest Hope of all.

  • Mondo Gonzales: The Age of Intensity
    Jan 27 2026

Mary welcomes back Mondo Gonzales to look at current headlines through the lens of the intensity of events. Are things really cranking up or is there just more coverage? Even with the volume bar in the red, Jesus’ words about birth pangs rises above the tumult and warns us that events will crank up with both frequency and intensity. What is fueling the rage, the ideologies, the intensity? We stand back and watch and really don’t comprehend the craziness which feeds upon itself. Then there’s President Trump, who doesn’t mind shaking up the system that leftists thought was in their own iron-fisted control. If you just stand back and watch, you might even be amused. But it’s spiritual, and someone is shaking the nations from within. We talk about globalism, tech, Israel, and “peace, peace, where there IS no peace.”

  • Replay – Dr. Ted Baehr: The Media-Wise Family
    Jan 26 2026

[Originally aired 3/27/25] In the first half of today’s podcast, Mary chats with Dr. Ted Baehr, long-time authority on the media and the importance of having standards and guardrails in place to ensure that our kids are mentally and emotionally equipped to live as spiritually and socially healthy adults. Unfortunately, many Christian parents also partake in morally bankrupt, dark media that affects their walk with Christ and their day to day family life. Should families be arguing daily about their kids’ time on smart devices? Might that be a sign of an unhealthy view and place of entertainment in our households? Dr. Ted is Founder and Publisher of MOVIEGUIDE®: The Family Guide to Movies and Entertainment and Chairman of the Christian Film & Television Commission® ministry, as well as a noted critic, educator, lecturer, and media pundit. His life’s purpose is to be used of God to redeem the values of the media while educating audiences on how to use discernment in selecting their entertainment. Movieguide has 4,000+ Faith Based Articles and Movie Reviews to help families navigate today’s media. Following the chat with Ted, we continue to talk about media and families and how to protect our dearest gifts – the youngsters God has entrusted us with.

  • David Holland: Global Smackdown – US v Globalists
    Jan 23 2026

Mary welcomes back financial guru David Holland to talk about the blowtorch maneuver that Trump used at Davos. As another WEF summit winds down, we know less about globalism and its enduring (not endearing) qualities than we ever did. Trump pushed some buttons for sure, and this caps off the first year of his second term. In 2025 we saw trade policies, tariffs, foreign policy, and alliances all get shaken. The Mideast has altered significantly, topped off by Trump’s “Board of Peace” initiative. It’s impossible to even guess what this year holds in the arena of cryptocurrencies, surveillance systems, inflation, and Ai, but we still see Trump’s America First policies holding firm. And so many do not like it and aren’t afraid to say so. But what did the globalists expect with their pandemic panic run-through that was horribly mishandled? Trust? Or just flat-out tyranny? So we go to David for some free-range conversation about all of it, and look at what to watch for. A full hour on financial stuff – minus the glowing puppies this time.

  • Trey Dellinger: the Culture, the Pulpit, and the Courthouse
    Jan 22 2026

Mary welcomes back Trey Dellinger, the Senior Legal Fellow of AFA Action, the government affairs affiliate of American Family Association. Trey has his finger on the pulse of the moral issues that affect our churches and our families. Today we look at the current SCOTUS cases on trans athletes in women’s sports. Trey gives us the rundown on those cases and why he has reason for optimism. Then we look at the first amendment as it relates to protesters storming churches. Whether it’s for attention or to bait Christians about race and their perspectives on what is important, we have to see what our rights are as believers. We also take a look at how our kids can be better protected online, since parents aren’t always the best gatekeepers – although that is their job. Finally we look at Human Trafficking Prevention month. So many moral issues, how do we keep up, and how can we help pastors keep up as well?

  • Headlines: Waiting for that Proverbial Shoe to Drop
    Jan 21 2026

Tim and Mary Danielsen take a look at the current news cycle, of course a continuation of the previous one – and yet the incremental increase in chaos and wickedness bears mentioning. “Waiting for the other shoe to drop” is one way to describe the edge-of-the-seat posture that today’s headlines tend to invoke. But in the case of the unknown shoe, it very much applies to that global war that seems to be always in the next news cycle. Are nations just being very cautious? Or is there more maneuvering going on? Some say that Trump and the right are warmongerers, but a case could be made that the Dems have been responsible for all the major wars of the last 150 years. Either way, whether it’s global war, civil war in the states, the economy or the Mideast, shoes could all drop at once one of these days, redefining chaos as we have known it. A full hour of headlines and commentary.

  • JB Hixson: Keeping Watch in the Night – Church Trends
    Jan 20 2026

    Dr. JB Hixson

Mary welcomes back JB Hixson to talk about trends in the church that bear continual surveillance. Putting together 10 was no challenge at all. So what are we watching? Everything from the state of biblical authority to tech to self-induced isolation from each other. And when you throw in the rise of preterism and the waning of dispensationalism, that tells us an awful lot about interest in the blessed hope. Americans are unique in the world in our emphasis on independence and personal freedoms – that “personal relationship” that is not meant to be stuffed into a bottle but translate into evangelizing, fulfilling the “one anothers” and bearing each others burdens. But all too often all we are seeing is the warning that Paul gave Timothy about the last days and lovers of selfism. Choosing a church based on emotion and what’s in it for us is a community killer. And so many of these trends reflect that, the busy busy church that really doesn’t even disciple, as if being busy is the mark of a Spirit-filled congregation. And just as Paul warns us what flows from selfism is very bad, so it would seem – and a lot of it is, well, really bad. A very full hour with Pastor JB.

  • Replay – Marcia Montenegro: Spellbound – The New Paranormal Normal
    Jan 19 2026

BE ADVISED: NUMEROUS INTERNET DROP OUTS WITH GUEST’S CONNECTION! #SpiritualWarfare

[Original airdate: 2/7/25] In today’s installment of Stand Up, Mary welcomes Marcia Montenegro to discuss her revised classic, “Spellbound: The Paranormal Seduction of Today’s Kids”. In her book, she gives a wealth of information on each aspect of sorcery and the paranormal, and how parents can discern if their children are dabbling in it. With so many aspects of it, and so much media, it’s impossible to believe that most kids and teens aren’t dabbling in it. We discuss astrology, oujia boards, psychics, spells, and much more. Before becoming a Christian, Marcia was involved for many years in Eastern spiritual beliefs (Hindu and Buddhist), New Age, and Occult practices. She was also a certified, professional astrologer who taught astrology for several years and served as chairperson of the Astrology Board of Examiners (ABE) and President of the Astrological Society in Atlanta, GA. Through her full-time ministry, Christian Answers for the New Age (CANA), Marcia speaks around the country at churches and conferences and on numerous radio broadcasts, internet webcasts, and podcasts. She has articles published in various magazines and written chapters included in books on the New Age and Occult topics.
