  • "Steel Bound!" by Russell Aerden Barnson was originally published in Western Stories Magazine on April 25, 1925. "Steel Bound" tells the tale of a young deputy Sheriff and a hardened outlaw.  After a running gunfight across a wild and remote country, they find themselves horseless and bound to each other by handcuffs. Now, the two men must somehow walk many miles to the nearest town, all the while waiting for the other to kill him!

    Western author Peter Alan Tuner edited, produced, and read this story.
