  • Future Sunday 2021 - Cory Mitchell, 23rd May 2021
    May 30 2021

If you would like to watch a short, summarised, version of our Future Sunday message you can do so by clicking here...
    .
“Church is not the building we go to or gather in. Church is what God will build in and through us as we go…”

This next season, next chapter, in the life and story of Steeple is one of sowing seed; seed that will lead us into the season of harvest to come…

A harvest of doing good, of engaging our community, of participating in justice, of service to the poor, the hungry and the marginalised; a season of harvest that will see multitudes of people experience and encounter Jesus in practical, tangible and powerful ways like never before in the history of our Church…

Will you prayerfully consider Generously Committing to our local vision and expression of Gods table by:

    1. Generously Participating in the future of Steeple Church by being present with, and praying for, your church and community regularly and often?

    2. Generously Loving yourself and your neighbour by devoting your future to the person and practice of Jesus (BAE), by committing to develop health and growth in-and-alongside the people God has placed in your life, this local church, community and world through faithful and reliable service and discipleship in and as His people?

    3. Generously Investing into the future of Steeple Church by committing your embodied and financial resource toward the people, projects and partnerships of Steeple Hospitality Inc?
    .
    [Isaiah 28: 23-26 NLT]

    “Listen to me;
    listen, and pay close attention.
24 Does a farmer always plow and never sow?
Is he forever cultivating the soil and never planting?
25 Does he not finally plant his seeds—
black cumin, cumin, wheat, barley, and emmer wheat—
    each in its proper way,
and each in its proper place?
26 The farmer knows just what to do,
for God has given him understanding.”
