  • Training while injured and Gi heel hooks
    May 27 2022

Dan and Andy return for a Friday rant to discuss the latest goings-on in the academy, and the new plans for an improved schedule.   Much talk about how to deal with injuries, how to train and continue making progress even if you can't spar or drill.  Injuries are almost inevitable in combat sports and yet it doesn't have to mean a full stop on your development.  Several strategies for making progress while injured are suggested.  The men round out the podcast with a thought experiment discussion about what the future of Gi jiu jitsu would like like if heel hooks were allowed in the ibjjf..
