For most of us, our immediate reply is “no.” Yes, we even think “no” because our brains are so good at coming up with reasons for why we can’t do things. I can’t take time off work. I have to do a mountain of laundry. I don’t feel good in any of my going-out outfits. This is just another example of how we put our lives on hold for One Day When… we’re thinner, richer, smarter, or whatever criticism we’re feeling particularly strongly that day. What does it mean to say “yes” to life — to surrender to what is! Can you, truly, say “yes” to life?
