  • In this episode, Alan and I had the great pleasure to welcome Daron Rahlves to Skiing is Believing. He shared with us some fantastic experiences from when Daron was crowned world Super-G champion in St. Anton in 2001 to the importance of confidence in sport. Daron told us his personal importance of confidence and how that self-belief allowed the results to become better and better at certain times of his career. Daron also told us a fascinating story about someone he worked with he told him he couldn't be a downhiller yet to this day, Daron Rahlves is America's most successful male Downhill ski racer with 20 podiums and 9 victories. Daron also shared with us the importance of confidence in ski racing which he, at times in his career, was able to carry from race to race. He also told us about the importance of mental imagery and how this helped him nail some of the hardest tracks in the world. Please let us know what you think.
