  • In this episode Alan and I had the absolute privilege of welcoming not one but two American speed specialists to the podcast, in Jared Goldberg and Jacqueline Wiles. And what a privilege it was. They both told us their positive feelings about their respective seasons in which both Jared and Jackie qualified for the FIS WC finals in Saalbach. Jackie also returned to the WC podium in Cortina from Bib 26 in January. You may also notice that Jared and Jackie have both had some incredible results in Italy. Jackie scored 2 of her 3 World Cup podiums in Cortina and Jared scored 4 of his 6 World Cup top tens in Val Gardena. Coming into a World Championship year, the 2 Americans emphasised their hopes of consistency throughout next season which will hopefully result in a positive result in those World Championships.
