  • Parable of the talents makes us ask lots of questions, and unfortunately, most of them are the wrong ones. We want to know why the servants get different amounts of coins, and we want to know what the master was thinking. Neither is the point of the parable. The parable is about taking steps of faithfulness, using what you have been given to work for, and bringing glory to God. How often is this like our lives? We make things much more complicated by adding a lot of unfiltered clutter.
