  • Saint Clare of Assisi
    Aug 11 2024
    Sister Moon to Brother Sun

Saint Clare of Assisi was the first female member of the Franciscan community.

She fought against the whole Franciscan community, including popes, to maintain the original Rule of St. Francis.

After his death, she spent the rest of her life caring for her ladies.

She would not even die before her rule for the Poor Clares was approved by the Pope.

Clare is a role model for all women in headship, not exclusively of the Church, but especially of the Church.

She may very well have been placed on this earth to be a prototype for Superiors of Religious Communities, male and female, for centuries to come.

Saint Clare could easily be the standard bearer for anyone who would lead a community of people, whether it be a Religious Community, as Superior, or a country, as President, Dictator, or King.

And her philosophy was not new, or complicated.

It was simple. "Love one another as I have loved you."

  • Who are the Angels?
    Feb 8 2024

Saint. Thomas Aquinas is so outstanding. The Lord has given him the ability to take very complex matters, such as the differences between animal, human and Angel, and break them down into logical, extremely understandable terms. He was particularly enraptured by Angels, as are we. He made a study of them. I have to believe he got a lot of help in his research from the Angels themselves, in the form of Angelic inspiration, or possibly by a direct line.
We pray they will be as kind to us, as we try to explain their culture, and their role in Salvation History in general, and in our lives, more specifically. Strangely enough, it's easier to salute their power and accomplishments, than it is to actually explain them. However, we have an urgency to try. We want you to feel as strongly about them, as close to them as we do, and as in love with them as we are, so you can take advantage of the dominance the Lord has given them on our behalf. They're just waiting for you to ask them to use their strength for you. Sometimes, they don't even wait for you to ask. You know, when something wonderfully impossible has happened to you, it's usually the work of your Angels. If ever there was a time when we needed the Angels, it's now.

  • The Life of Pope Pius IX
    Feb 6 2024

Pope Pius IX. He was elected Pope at one of the most crucial periods in the history of the Church, and remained at the helm of the ship of the Church longer than any Pope before or since, 32 years. He is responsible for many great things during his papacy, including, but not limited to the Dogma of Papal Infallibility, the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady, the short-lived Vatican I, and his ongoing battle against the elements who were out to destroy the Church, namely the beginnings of the New Age movement, and the liberals all over Europe, but especially Victor Emmanuel in Italy, who not only plotted to steal the papal lands, he ultimately forced our Pope to end his pontificate as a self-imposed prisoner inside the Vatican walls. These and many other attacks made against Pope Pius IX, lovingly called Pio Nonno, caused him much grief throughout his Papacy, but the Lord kept him in charge for for 32 years for a good reason; there was a job to be done! God knew Pius IX could get the job done!
