    In the first of this two-part conversation, I’m sitting down with Scott Fawcett, founder of the DECADE Course Management System, to learn his unique approach to playing golf with intention–beyond the swing.

    Listen in as Scott shares how the game's evolution places equal weight on both the mental and the physical, drawing parallels between golf and chess. Whether you're a club-level player or an aspiring pro, Scott’s Decade system offers a simplified approach to understanding the complexities of the game, helping you play smarter, not harder.

    We then take a deep dive into putting performance, breaking down the concepts of tracking putts and strokes gained. Discover the importance of walking off putt distances and why nailing long putts can dramatically impact your game. Professor Mark Broadie’s strokes gained method offers a nuanced, step-by-step approach that goes beyond just counting total putts.

    Scott and I end the first part of our discussion with our thoughts on the types of mental health challenges faced by golfers at all levels. We explore the emotional and psychological strains of the sport, using drawing on our personal experiences to highlight the importance of having a support system to keep you afloat. From Tiger Woods’ legendary mental resilience to the tragic story of Grayson Murray, we’re bringing to the surface the need for more mental health awareness in the golfing community.

Women have places to go in every stage

I love that Tori shows women of all ages that there is places to go(things to do) in every stage of life. I am an empty nester and have recently picked up golf again. I absolutely love it and will listen to this podcast even more.
