Before joining the family business at Arden’s Garden, she was applying to medical schools. She learned that sometimes, you have to endure trials along the way to finding your purpose.In the commitment to sustainability, the company recently introduced two exciting initiatives over the past year: upcycling pulp into food products and partnering with an organic urban farm in East Point. Smaller communities make it easier to connect with neighbors, and even in larger places like Atlanta, Arden’s Garden made connections. Feeling a strong bond with East Point created a beneficial synergy due to their support. Initially, their involvement was reluctant, but it eventually became mutually rewarding.Many people lack clarity on how to be healthy and where to find the right foods and drinks. Arden’s see’s a significant opportunity to support individuals in their journey towards improved health, as they witness their commendable efforts in our stores every day.Leslie was inspired by a friend to join in on a three day juice cleanse. This is rejuvenative and brings more energy, optimism, and mental clarity. Juice cleanses can reignite one’s commitment to health, even during times of wavering.Arden’s Garden provides in-store education and collaborates with local organizations like the Urban Farm. Due to COVID, the plans for cooking classes were disrupted. Now, the company is planning to offer free cooking classes to empower people to prepare healthy meals for themselves.A five-year partnership with customer-centric Publix led to expansion from 40 to 200 stores, turning initial setbacks into blessings.
