But can this sweet tale of Moe connecting with Maggie survive a whacky third act with the mafia? Grab an orange peel and listen along to find out!

Starts off great, gradually becomes insufferable

Much like The Simpsons themselves, this show comes out pretty strong out the gate.
But it doesn't take long for the two main hosts (Bob and Henry) to become absolute comedy snobs, looking down their noses upon some of the later episodes, as well as anyone remotely associated with shows like Family Guy.
They also absolutely pride themselves when they point out how "these jokes wouldn't fly today." It's one thing if they just left it at that, but they expect 80s-90s writers to be as "enlightened" as (some) modern folks are these days.
Once the podcast starts inching into the downfall of The Simpsons (Season 12+), the two hosts start cowering, and opt instead to go back AGAIN and do commentary from the beginning onwards. They also drag their feet by having a monthly "talk to the audience" episode, which is incredibly boring.

In the end, the podcast is a good listen through Season 8. Afterwards, you'll want to do yourself a favor and find a few podcast.
