  • On the latest edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” Daily Gazette of Schenectady (N.Y.) sports editor Ken Schott talks college hockey and college football.

    Schott has interviews with Union men’s hockey head coach Josh Hauge and players Cullen Ferguson, John Prokop and Caden Villegas as the team gets ready for the final season of hockey at Messa Rink.

    The Gazette’s Adam Shinder talks about local college football. He joins Schott to review losses by Union and UAlbany last weekend and then previews this weekend’s matchups: SUNY Maritime at Union and UAlbany at Idaho.

    Schott then talks Syracuse football with ESPN Radio Syracuse sportstalk show host and 2000 Shaker High School graduate Brian Higgins.
