  • How would your faith change if you knew how to pray and felt confident that God hears you? We know prayer can seem difficult and is surrounded by guilt and shame. Our desire is for you to feel confident and comfortable in your prayer, understanding that God loves when you talk to Him, even about the mundane things in life.

    The foundation of the early church was fueled by the Latin phrase: Lex Orandi Lex Credendi or “the Church believes as she prays.” Talking to God wants you to stop talking about praying more and just pray. The focus is a time of guided prayer around a particular topic. Occasionally, we will drop bonus episodes to discuss some difficult topics in prayer.

    Our host, Pastor Chad has been a pastor for 16 years, is a husband, father of five, and oversees and moderates the Prayer Wall at ineedprayer.com, where a multitude of people coast to coast leave their prayer requests.

    Dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: I hold up all my weakness to your strength, my failure to your faithfulness, my sinfulness to your perfection, my loneliness to your compassion, my little pains to your great agony on the Cross. I pray that you will cleanse me, strengthen me, guide me, so that in all ways my life may be lived as you would have it lived, without cowardice and for you alone. Show me how to live in true humility, true remorse, and true love. Amen.

    Psalms 13:1-6 NLT - O LORD, how long will you forget me? Forever? How long will you look the other way? How long must I struggle with anguish in my soul, with sorrow in my heart every day? I will sing to the LORD because he is good to me. Our meditation on pain and suffering would be completely shallow if we didn’t consider the pain and suffering of Jesus.
