  • The 1980s and 1990s are arguably among the most important decades in Tamworth Football Club history - but, what was it like to watch the Lambs during these years?


    This time, we're joined by Andy, a Tamworth Football Club super-fan, shareholder and sponsor, who shares his memories with us.


    We discuss the Lambs’ glorious FA Vase run of 1989, watching the team at Wembley and winning the trophy in a replay at Peterborough.


    We then look back on the 1990s, a decade in which Tamworth only once finished outside the top 10 in league football, and we ask Andy about his recollections of 1996/97 when the Lambs won the title what is still the club’s all-time highest points total for a league season.


    Andy also shares with us his hopes for 2024/25 in the National League.
