  • Episode 4 of "The Unknowns"/Mikael Byrd former Theater Actor
    Jun 19 2025

As we have been doing in this season, we are highlighting another artist whom the general public would not have known. But I was fortunate enough to meet Mikael as a co-worker during my time as an administrative assistant at a local medial center. Mikael has a voice that is extraordinarily smooth, articulate and professional. I learned after a time, it was because he had in fact been a stage performer earlier in life. Mikael agreed to come back for his second interview with us. He has some stories to tell of his time as a struggling stage performer.

  • Jonathan and Sara Sacks/Congregation Leaders of Hope in Messiah/Bowling Green, KY
    Jun 13 2025

Jonathan and Sara are a lovely couple who have been ministering together for years. I had the pleasure of knowing them in a former congregation I attended. Jonathan shares his testimony of being raised in a traditional jewish home and coming to know Jesus/Yeshua as his savior. Sara shares a little insight into a few incidents on a recent cross country trip to visit family. Jonathan's testimony is worth listening to, as it goes to show how much God loved him and pursued him.

  • Joe and Pam Chat about the Noise in the News
    Jun 10 2025

If you look at the news at all, it's pretty obvious that there is lots of noise going on right now. Take your pick. Take a ticket, take a number. The Riverside platform for recording kept kicking us off, toward the end, some of Joe's comment was abruptly cut off, and then I came back a bit later and edited in the wrap up.

She is an original, and if you want to know what people are like...listen in to our tale of Nashville then and Nashville now.

  • Part 1: Discussion of the book "Michelle Danielle is Dead"
    May 27 2025

While the title of the book sounds ominous, it may not be exactly what you think. This topic is so sensitive that I was a bit hesistant to take it on when Rosalee presented it to me. But then, I remembered this book that was written by a friend of mine many years ago...about 38 years ago to be more precise. Michelle Danielle is a very detailed description of this young man's journey, and I will give you advance notice...political correctness was not a concern for the person sharing their story or the writer.

  • 'The Unknowns' Episode #3: In Memoriam: Steve Anderson/Guitar Virtuoso
    Apr 24 2025

As we continue to share episodes about talents in the area of Nashville which basically remained unknown during their heyday, we now honor the memory of Steven Dennis Anderson. Joe Serna was his closest friend from the teen years and forward. We once again are pointing toward the fact that so many brilliant artists in their lifetime remain below the radar, until they have passed. Steve was not only brilliant, he was also easy on the eyes. I am including a couple of links to share for those who would like to check out some of the music he peformed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wExIHuHOB6c AND https://www.discogs.com/artist/607124-Actuel?srsltid=AfmBOopqyFku9JVd3LE0pSyBY6JRrjizNmJZXuKVlwqsV4C0-iK_T0rh. RIP Steven Dennis Anderson.
