This 4th of July, we feel honored to review the history of the events that led to this special day in our nation's story. In calling to mind the signers of the Declaration of Independence, we are forced to see them for who they really were. Regular people. Just like you and me. Standing in the face of immeasurable odds. Working together- despite differences in age, occupation, and beliefs- to reclaim freedom. Regular people. Taking down tyrants.

On this Independence Day, let the stories of those that came before us serve as inspiration. In today's America, we once again find ourselves under the thumb of tyranny and oppression. Our Founding Fathers were called by courage to take action. In laying the foundation of our nation and signing their names on the Declaration of Independence that we celebrate today, they passed us the baton. Will you take it? When courage calls you, will you answer?

He has firsthand experience protecting the people in his jurisdiction from a corrupt and overreaching government. We are pleased to welcome Jared Bossly and Mike Klipfel back to The Fourth Box this week. The duo has taken on the fight against the carbon sequestering pipelines set to be laid through 3300 miles of the midwest.

These pipelines have led to complete loss of land and property rights. They pose a serious threat to everyone in the nearby vicinity. They are claiming eminent domain despite the fact that they are benefitting no one other than the major corporations who stand to earn some type of tax benefit (you guesses it - paid for by the American taxpayer). Not only that, but the projects of these corporations are being protected by governments big and small.

If not for individuals like Jared and Mike pushing back, these projects would be much further along. In the wake of recent news claiming this country's carbon sequestering efforts must quadruple by 2050, it is time for all United States citizens to wake up to this threat. It may not be on your doorstep today, but it very well could be tomorrow.

This week, we continue our journey of highlighting the major themes of the Las Vegas CSPOA event. We continue to work through these topics because they are an abbreviated explanation of some of the most prevalent threats facing our country today.

Unfortunately, one of these threats is the lack of election integrity. Only a mere 37% of Americans believe the 2024 elections will be both “honest and open” to rightful voters. (pac.org) Most Americans count on elections to be the only solution to the problems facing our country. Yet, this statistic tells us that there is no faith in those elections.

This tells us the system is broken. On the Fourth Box, we frequently talk about the three subsequent boxes: soap box, ballot box, and jury box. We always mention that these three boxes have been compromised. This episode dives into some of the reasons we have formed the conclusion.
