    Hong Xiuquan managed to secure for himself a Heavenly Kingdom for himself, thrusting China into complete disarray. Western missionaries attempt to change Hong's heretical teachings, to no avail. During this chaos, the British fight yet another Opium War with the Qing, and secure for itself another suite of concessions.

These missionaries would have a profound impact on Hong Xiuquan, who would adopt what he learned into his own religion. The movement that he would lead, would change the destiny of China forever.

    China had been closed off from Christianity for hundreds of years. Robert Morrison was determined to see that changed.
