Hong Xiuquan managed to secure for himself a Heavenly Kingdom for himself, thrusting China into complete disarray. Western missionaries attempt to change Hong's heretical teachings, to no avail. During this chaos, the British fight yet another Opium War with the Qing, and secure for itself another suite of concessions.

After signing the humiliating Treaty of Nanjing, more and more missionaries made their way across the waves to Chinese shores. These missionaries would have a profound impact on Hong Xiuquan, who would adopt what he learned into his own religion. The movement that he would lead, would change the destiny of China forever.
