Bio

Darren King is a consciousness educator, public speaker, researcher, and podcaster, who aims to both explore and expand the parameters of human consciousness. Darren’s focus on human potential is centrally connected not only to our innate, evolutionary drive towards an ever-expanding, emergent awareness driven by curiosity, but also with an eye towards the daunting global challenges we all face, which will require a new “center of gravity” for “human-beingness” to be adequately addressed.

The many questions pertinent to this overarching pursuit that Darren is actively engaged in include: Who are we? What other forms of intelligence surround and interact with us? What innate abilities have we let lay dormant and undeveloped within the modern mythos defined under Western civilization? What aspects of reality have we ignored and left unexplored in our race towards a left-brain driven, technological society focused solely on “objective” truth as narrowly defined according to the dictates of the physicalist paradigm? And finally, in light of revelations around psi phenomena, contact with non-conventional (sometimes non or quasi-physical) entities, near-death and out-of-body experiences, and the implications of quantum mechanics, what can we say of the ultimate nature of reality?

Darren is the founder of Essence of Being, an initiative designed to help equip humanity to meet the coming evolutionary nexus with a transformed identity rooted in a shared sense of purpose and belonging. This overarching mission is served through in-depth, immersive programs crafted to help people transition from a narrow, “siloed-mind” perspective, to a more robust, heart-centered, generative and interconnected view, positioned to perceive, understand and respond to personal and collective challenges in a timely, comprehensive manner, with the aim of being in service to the greatest good.

Darren serves as an advisor to the John Mack Institute, whose overarching aim is to “foster interdisciplinary initiatives that examine the nature of reality and the ways in which humanity’s understanding of it influences the condition of all life on earth”. Darren’s nuanced thinking and articulate reflections on the Contact phenomenon have earned him respect and a large, dedicated audience. His ongoing research aims to “connect the dots” between the Contact phenomenon and related topics such as near-death experiences (NDEs), out-of-body experiences (OBEs), and psi phenomena, ultimately keying in on what these data may reveal about the nature of reality itself.

Darren is regularly featured on a variety of shows and podcasts, exploring these various interrelated matters. This week I'm reading from Bruce Rapuano's book 'Dominion Lost: A Scientist's Own Alien Encounters'.

This bombshell nonfiction book, recently discussed by the author with George Knapp on Coast to Coast AM, is the only first-person account to date of UFO alien abductions authored by a mainstream American scientist. The author, who has multiple degrees in neuroscience, goes on the record regarding his incredible and fascinating experiences with UFO close encounters, including a very close encounter during which he was abducted from a group of eight other witnesses, interactions with alien beings and an unexplained nasal implant of specific structure all of which were recalled without regressive hypnosis. Also riveting are the author's experiences with short humanoid beings that are described in captivating detail to reveal all the ways that aliens control human behavior during the abduction process.

Even more amazing is the fact that this book is the first to explain : how the implants that are frequently reported by abductees work to analyze and influence the activity of the human brain. Exactly how the “grey aliens” were genetically reengineered from our early hominin ancestors. Precisely how the UFO propulsion system creates gravitational wave energy.

At the same time, relying on his professional background, insight from his personal abduction experiences and numerous cited scientific articles from peer-reviewed journals, the author demonstrates that the ultrasophisticated technical capabilities exhibited by the alien visitors to our planet are more than plausible. They represent a logical extrapolation of current human theoretical and applied science.

Moreover, the powerful evidence of such technology which has existed for more than 60 years, especially with respect to incredibly advanced propulsion systems for interstellar space travel and implanted devices that are likely instruments of mind control, proves that the aliens are here. Dr. Rapuano has conducted independent biomedical research as a cell biologist at internationally recognized medical institutions including the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and the Hospital for Special Surgery, both located in New York City. He has authored or coauthored thirty scientific articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. He has published articles on topics such as the role of membrane phospholipids in nerve function, the skeletal effects of cancer metastases, metabolic bone diseases and the coordinate surface electrical and biological properties of titanium alloy implant materials. Dr. Rapuano has also worked concurrently as a medical research scientist and Associate Radiation Safety Officer at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

The Men in Black (MIB) have haunted UFO history for decades, not as sightings in the sky, but as the figures who arrive after the sighting. This episode unpacks one of the most disturbing and persistent mysteries in UFO lore: who the Men in Black are, what they want, and why they appear whenever witnesses get too close to the truth.

The story begins in the early 1950s, at the dawn of modern UFO research. Civilian investigators, rather than governments, were the first to collect reports of flying saucers and close encounters. Among them was Albert K. Bender, founder of the International Flying Saucer Bureau. His work came to an abrupt halt after he claimed three dark-suited men visited his home, warning him to stop investigating UFOs. These include visitors who seem to materialize rather than arrive, encounters where MIB knew private information they could not possibly have obtained, and witnesses who describe them as physically and emotionally “off,” as if mimicking humans rather than being human.

This week I'm talking to Steve Neill about his book 'But Something is There' and his youtube channel 'Breaking the silence'.

But Something is There is Steve Neill's journey through a life time of dealing with the unknown. Some call the experience "The Visitors" some call it abduction by aliens. The truth is we don't know what it is, But Something is There.

Bio

Steve Neill is a special effects makeup artist, filmmaker, puppeteer, model maker and visual effects (VFX) artist in film and television with a career spanning over 35 years.

Steve started in the Industry at American Zoetrope just after high school where he produced his first film, Arthur. He was mentored by Francis Coppola and became good friends.

Moving to Hollywood, Steve met Joe Blasco where he apprenticed for a short while before becoming friends with Rick Baker who gave him his start in Hollywood. Later he met Bob Schieffer who was head of Disney make-up and then became friends with Fred B. Phillips as a result of being friends with Bob Schieffer.

Steve Neill first worked for Fred B. Phillips on Star Trek: The Motion Picture. His first assignment was to make Spock's ears. Additionally he designed and made the appliances of the dome headed alien on the bridge that was applied by Steve Neill.

After working on Star Trek Steve went to work for John Chambers making prosthetics and puppet heads for National Lampoon’s Class Reunion.

Steve Neill has also worked on Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country for Richard Snell as a sculptor and prosthetic maker of numerous Klingon forehead pieces. Additionally he worked on the Star Trek: The Next Generation pilot episode, "Encounter at Farpoint".

Steve Neill was also one of the Famous Hollywood Gorilla Men. Over the course of many years he made three gorilla suits and performed in many commercials, tv shows and movies. Additionally he created the McDonald’s “Mac Tonight” moon character puppeteering it for many years. The head was worn by Doug Jones and puppeteered by Steve Neill, Gillian Neill and Bob Burns.

He worked on Crater Lake Monster (1977) and Laser Blast (1978). Steve created, wrote and produced The Day Time Ended (1978). He worked on Ghost Busters (1984), Fright Night (1985), and many other sci-fi and horror films.

In this episode I am talking about the Cash–Landrum UFO encounter.

Some encounters fade into obscurity; others refuse to be neatly filed away. Cash–Landrum is very much in the latter category. It sits at the intersection of several larger themes the podcast regularly explores: the limits of official transparency, the frailty of the human body in the face of the unknown, and the way extraordinary experiences can fracture the boundary between private memory and public controversy.

In this episode, we step gently back through time to the early morning of April 14, 1561, when the people of Nuremberg witnessed one of the most mysterious UFO events ever recorded. As the sun rose over the old city, the sky itself seemed to come alive with strange shapes, glowing objects, and moving forms that looked as though they were interacting, colliding, and battling above the rooftops. What should have been an ordinary morning became something unforgettable, leaving behind a story that has echoed quietly through the centuries.

At the heart of this episode is the remarkable printed account created by Hans Glaser, a local printer who documented what the citizens saw in both words and images. His broadsheet shows a sky filled with spheres, crosses, rods, and dark shapes surrounding the rising sun, with objects appearing to fall from the sky beyond the city walls. It is not a myth, not a legend passed down by word of mouth, but a real historical record produced and shared in the city itself. There is something deeply moving about the fact that ordinary people, living quiet daily lives, suddenly found themselves witnessing something so vast and unexplained above them.
