Lazarus has died, and his family went through the entire process of burying him. In the midst of their grief, Jesus tells the disciples that He is glad that He wasn’t there to stop Lazarus from getting sick and dying. NOW was the time for Jesus to strengthen their faith! When facing a Lazarus situation, the enemy will try to cloud your mind with emotions and thoughts that God could have stopped it. But what if we peel back those emotions and thoughts, and receive Jesus’s red letters for the truth that they are? What if God needs our faith strengthened for what is to come? If Jesus hadn’t resurrected Lazarus, would the disciples and Mary and Martha believed that Jesus would resurrect after His crucifixion?

God took Ezekiel to a valley full of very many, very dry bones. He asked Ezekiel, “Can these dry bones live?” Why do you think God asked Ezekiel this? What dry bones do you have in your life that you need to give attention to? Can those dry bones, be it your marriage, your finances, your health, whatever it is in your life, can those dry bones live? We need to step up and take back the authority God has give us in our lives and DECLARE His breath of life over the dry bones in our lives!
