The depth of investigations

I thought this was great story usually I get bored in a series of the same thing for multiple episodes but this was well written and the heart the mothers all shared and bleed drew me in kept it real and I couldn’t skip it!

Don’t miss this one!

Excellent long-form investigative podcast that has the pace of a page-turner novel. I will continue following this case as the families deserve our full attention.

Keeps you captivated

I've listened to longer podcasts I get tired of because they seem so repetitive. This one is a continuation story each episode. There is only rehash when needed.

So sorry

Well done to you all, so much work was put into this by all. I am so sorry to all the families that go through and are going through these horrors. This podcast shows all that is evolved by all parties. We get to feel the headaches of all and see that it never goes away or stops. I hope you all find out the truth. Please do more of these to help these many families find out the truth.

Story is fascinating, but podcast could have been half as long

Great investigative journalism but a lot of unnecessary dialogue. Could have been 5 or 6 episodes. And I’m sorry to say it but Jane’s voice was grating and she was featured in every episode and almost had as much air time as the journalist. I feel for Bailey’s sister. It must have been and continue to be very hurtful to watch her mother enable her sister while her whereabouts were known and then continue to have Bailey’s disappearance absolutely consume her life.

exploitative

as mentioned by a previous review, while diased investigation in this podcast is on full view throughout this series. in no way do I think the families of the victims do anything wrong in expressing their thoughts and grief, although Bailey's mother does indeed become more and more frustrating to listen to. but the onus lies on the reporter to keep the perspective narrow and focused on facts. she does not. Queen is by all accounts a really terrible person. absolutely. and I'm glad he is in prison for his role. but this investigation glossed over too many points and statements by people that knew all of the people involved that paint a much darker picture about each of the individuals. of course a parent would never want to believe something so horrible about their own child, but the scenarios expressed are simply theories and opinions. not FACTS. and those theories seemed to color the reporters view of what happened and seemed to take a position on it very early on. it's up to the media to do better. this type of biased reporting leads to rash decisions in the best case scenario and having innocent people convicted in the worst case scenario. so while the podcast was well recorded and produced and while I feel for the families of the victims , this is ultimately not worth listening to.

Biased Reporting

While the story was good, the reporting left a lot to be desired. As I made my way through, the mother of Bailey becomes more and more intolerable. While Matt Queen is a deplorable human, Bailey was just as bad. It is awful when parents cannot accept who their children are. The kid you believe you know isn't always the kid their friends know. Once it became clear that she wouldn't accept who her daughter was, it was almost impossible to listen.
