    If you're anything like me, you struggle with Church. Maybe you have some church hurt from poor leadership, gossip, money grubbing, or the barrage of other ways sinful people mess up what God intended for good. I'm not here to tell you to join a church, but I am here to tell you not to do it alone. The local Church just happens to be the most convenient way to do that. So let's take a look in the Word and see what God desires our gathering to look like.

    As humans, we are well acquainted with disappointment in others. Maybe even our own Dad's. What if we truly let God father us? In the midst of an imperfect life with imperfect people who love us imperfectly, can we let Him fill the gap? Do you believe He can? Does your soul need restoration... or just... rest?

    Join James as he shares some hurt, and hang-ups, but chooses to turn it back to The Lord. There is a power there that your heart desperately needs to feel complete.

Press into Jesus when this happens, stay a part of the body, and God will surprise you! You are a valuable part of the body of Christ... but sometimes that means you feel different than others. That's ok. God made you that way!

    These 2 episodes were first called "what is spiritual warfare?" due to the nature of Satan's involvement. However, this one particularly speaks to the divisive nature of the Enemy. James digs into speaking life into each others differences. We must stop tearing down the church. We call out false gospel's, and speak truth to lies always, but we cannot deny the power of 1 Pet. 4:8, to love deeply the harder it gets. Therefore, spiritual warfare, and seeking unity among His people are very, very closely linked. We hope you enjoy it and feel encouraged. You are not alone, no matter how much Satan wants you to think you are.

    Join James as he dives into some practical and situational attacks from the Enemy, how to fight the lies, what the Bible says about it, and how to aim for unity over discord. This is a hard topic to cover succinctly because of how nuanced it is. Satan can take any opportunity to tell you that you don't matter. James talks about loneliness and isolation, sex, age, gifting, and various other moments that temptation and lies can seep in.

    Have you ever met that Christian that acts like all Christian's are perfect, pleasant, and good for you? Church hurt often begins this way. Leaders trusting leaders and never giving you a voice? We need to be honest about the human factor of humanity. Christian's still sin and still need Jesus just as much as the day they got saved! What about the differing versions of Christianity? What does it mean to be "born again"? Let's get into!
