  • Humans vs Machines. Personal Brand In The Face of AI, with Imogen Jones & Mark Franklin
    Feb 6 2026

In this roundtable discussion, I sit down with Imogen Jones and Mark Franklin to talk openly about artificial intelligence and its growing presence in our working lives.

Together, we explore what it really means to be a professional human at a time when artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how we work, think and communicate.

Rather than getting swept up in hype or fear, we slow the conversation down and look at where humans still add value, what AI is genuinely useful for, and where over-reliance can quietly erode trust, credibility and connection.

We talk about AI as a co-pilot rather than a replacement, the importance of critical thinking, and why your personality, values and lived experience are becoming more — not less — important in your personal brand.

If you’re a subject matter expert, consultant, coach or knowledge worker wondering how to position yourself in a world full of machines - this episode will give you clarity and perspective.

  • Podcasting Without the Polish: Real Answers to Real Questions, with Shelley Rostlund
    Jan 23 2026
    In this episode:

I answer real podcasting questions sent in by listeners and peers - without notes, scripts or preparation. I put an invitation out to my online audiences to send in their questions as I celebrate 3 years in running this show.

I talk candidly about why I started the show, how it supports my work as a consultant, and why podcasting has become one of my most useful thinking tools. I also unpack what success looks like beyond downloads, how I avoid repeating myself across episodes, and why listening back to your own work is part of becoming a better host.

This episode is practical, reflective and honest - especially if you’re building something quietly in the background and wondering if it’s doing what you hoped it would.

  • Podcast Host Journey - Reflections Over Last 3 Years, with Imogen Jones
    Jan 9 2026

I look back on the last three years being the host of this show. Something a little different for you.

I’ve invited my podcast manager, Imogen Jones, to join me as we reflect on some specific points in my three-year journey in creating and hosting this show.

    I talk about:

    1. why I first started the show,
    2. the points where I feel like shifts were happening to sharpen what I want the show to ‘grow up to be’
    3. how it's going right now, and
    4. what I see changing in the future (if anything)

My sharing may help your thinking - if you were hoping to start a show soon. My hope is that you realise that you can have the flexibility to evolve as long as you give yourself the space to work out how you feel about what you are doing, and who you are doing it for.

  • Speak Up About Your Work, Confidence Takes Practise, with Shelley Rostlund
    Dec 12 2025
    In this episode:

This is a reflection episode where I look back on two very different conversations I had with former Typhoon Fighter Pilot, Helen Seymour and Animal Enrichment Specialist, Mark Kingston Jones.

I walk through three top things that came up for me from these discussions:

    1. Building confidence in SELF and TOPIC

2️. Speaking up about what you do

    3️. Collaboration and communication

These conversations re-enforced for me how important it is to practice being confident by taking action and pushing past comfort zones. It also reminded me of the importance of clear and transparent communication and I walked away with a few things that I want to shift in my own life and work.

Join me as I reflect on these two marvellous professionals contributions to the conversations.

In this conversation you’ll get to hear how he navigated from studying psychology, then moving into the research of animal behaviour and welfare, to running a business today that focuses on building enrichment devices for zoos, safari parks and sanctuaries around the world.

You’ll also hear how he is fairing marketing himself and his business in a world that has many challenges around funding and restrictive systemic issues – not to mention the welfare of the animals and the keepers as working parts of the whole.

  • Helen Seymour. Typhoon Fighter Pilot Turned Speaker Shares Her Personal Brand Story
    Nov 14 2025
    In this episode:

Part of my series: ‘Real life Personal Brand Examples’.

I chat to Former Typhoon Fighter Pilot Helen Seymour, who comes on the show to share a small part of career journey and in starting her own business and how she has navigated her way to learning to market herself.

For more than 20 years Helen was actively encouraged NOT to share what her job was and what she did on a day-to-day basis. One because of the confidential nature of the work she was doing in the RAF and also from a personal safety perspective.

In this conversation you’ll get to hear how she had to get her head around actually sharing what she does and also standing up on stages and talking about what it was like being a Typhoon Fighter Pilot.

Her business today – which she started with her friend Rosie who was a navigator on some of her early missions – has managed to transfer their learning from their RAF days and bringing them into to the corporate world.

Do come listen and hear how even Helen, after flying countless dangerous missions through international skies at 9Gs… has experienced imposter syndrome.

    - - -

    𝗚𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗕𝗜𝗢:

Helen Seymour is the first female Eurofighter Typhoon pilot, with more than 20 years of fighter pilot experience in the RAF.

She’s been involved in delivering air defence in the form of Quick Reaction Alert to the UK, Falklands and for NATO in the Baltic States. She has served on operations as part of the liberation of Libya, as well as taken part in, and held, the role of Mission Commander in many multi-national exercises world-wide.

Before she retired from the RAF her final role was as an Evaluator Pilot on the Typhoon Test Squadron; responsible for the safe and effective introduction of new equipment and capability to the war fighter on the Typhoon Force.

This included missile firing, weapon dropping and many complex and highly pressured radar, avionic and test profiles. She was the lead pilot for the Typhoon defensive aids system.

Today, after retiring from the RAF, Helen runs a business with her friend Nic “Rosie” Steevenson who was a navigator on some of her early missions. They deliver high impact keynote talks and workshop training for businesses in safety -critical, high performance industries.
