Mention the name Chris Slade and people automatically think of AC/DC "The Razors Edge" and Thunderstruck" those incredible performances at Monsters of Rock Donnington and the biggest outdoor festival ever held in Moscow. There is though so much more to Chris's life in music from Manfred Mann's Earth Band , Frankie Miller, Uriah Heep, Gary Numan, Dave Gilmour , The Firm Gary Moore and that was all before we get to AC/DC. Chris joined me to look back at his life in music and we look back across 7 decades in the business he is great company has many tales to tell.

On this video edition of the show we talk to a Drum legend "Carmine Appice" who's career has spanned 7 decades from the 60's with Vanilla Fudge and then Cactus to his time with Rod Stewart he's sat alongside and played with rock and blues greatest performers.

This year he is back with Cactus and "Temple of Blues" a mammoth collaborative project that includes Joe Bonamassa , Pat Travers, Ted Nugent , Doug Aldrich, Rudy Sarzo, Billy Sheehan, Steve Stevens. Dug Pinnick, Warren Haynes and more .

Carmine joins me from home in NYC we look at the origins of the band , working with Jeff Beck and Rod Stewert lots of great stories and anecdotes from Carmine's 7 decades in the business.

Joining us on this video edition of the show two former members of Megadeth the Grammy award winning Dave Ellefson and Jeff Young we look back at the 80's when Megadeth were head to head with Metallica and Anthrax and Jeff joined for "So Far So Good So What" the tours around the world and appearing at Monsters of Rock in 1988 along with Guns + Roses" and headliners Iron Maiden .

Then we come up to date looking at the "Kings of Thrash" project and what it's future is.
