A powerful and painfully sad true story.

This podcast was mesmerizing but, at times, very difficult to listen to, especially during the live recordings of the unbelievable distress of the young children at the hands of the “do gooder” CPS agency. My heart broke into a million pieces.

It's real, thank you for reporting it

We lived this nightmare in 2020. It ONLY lasted a month due to our privilege and legal savvy. My spouse and child declined to listen to the podcast with me as they remain traumatized 4 years later. Thank you for your work in reporting.

Who's the danger...?

Quite scary scenario that can become a real threat to any, yes any, real family. As a father in family with two young people, I almost couldn't finish the narration. Now I've gotten kinda jittery watching my babies scurrying around the little apartment. At least, there is some lesson for parents; but the worry will stay with you after listening to this.
