  • S5 E11 - Severe CFS/ME/Long Covid Recovery with Jay
    Nov 14 2025
Learn how to JournalSpeak ➡️ https://bit.ly/3IsmzN4 At 21, Jay was living an extraordinary life — an international freestyle skier and full-time Math and Computer Science student. After winning a national ski competition, he caught Covid — and everything changed. As the virus faded, Jay was left with crushing fatigue that spiraled into ME/CFS and Long Covid. Within months, he became 97% bedbound — unable to walk to the bathroom or care for himself. His parents became his lifeline, researching desperately while he struggled to survive. Then Jay’s father found Gary (Season 3, Episode 26) who introduced them to my work, and Jay’s cognitive symptoms began to lift. With a consistent JournalSpeak practice and MindBody mindset, he is now completely recovered - competing and training again harder than ever. Jay’s story is a stunning reminder that there is more to illness than meets the eye. Join us for this incredible conversation. XOOX n. PLEASE RATE AND REVIEW THE PODCAST HERE TO HELP OTHERS FIND IT! • S5 E10 - Toxic Shame
    Nov 7 2025
Learn how to JournalSpeak ➡️ https://bit.ly/3IsmzN4 In this "sister" episode to last week's Prison of Perfect, we unpack the concept of toxic shame—the deep, painful belief that “I am bad,” rather than “I did something bad.” We'll discuss how this core wound often begins in childhood, when emotional needs for safety and connection go unmet. Over time, internalized shame becomes the background music of our lives, fueling perfectionism, people-pleasing, withdrawal, and even rage. These patterns are not moral failings, but protective adaptations the nervous system creates to survive emotional disconnection. Healing begins when we bring curiosity and compassion to the parts of ourselves that feel unworthy. Through awareness, JournalSpeak, and community, we gradually replace the old narrative of defectiveness with one of inherent worth. Remember!! You are not broken, you're human. Let's dive into it all. xoxo, n. PLEASE RATE AND REVIEW THE PODCAST HERE TO HELP OTHERS FIND IT! Producer: Lisa Eisenpresser ~~~~~ SUPPORT: 🟠 Struggling with chronic pain? • S5 E9 - The Prison of Perfect (and how to break free)
    Oct 31 2025
Learn how to JournalSpeak ➡️ LEARN HOW: https://bit.ly/3IsmzN4 In this episode, we take a deep dive into what I call the prison of perfect—the exhausting pattern of trying to get everything right so you can finally feel safe, loved, or in control. Join us as we explore where this need comes from, how it shows up in our bodies as pain and anxiety, and why perfectionism is really just protection in disguise. Through inner inquiry, self-compassion, and staying consistent in our JournalSpeak, we begin to shake free of its shackles. When we let go of the pressure to be perfect, we can learn to feel safe being human instead. Join us for a really important reminder about how you might be seeing life - without even meaning it! • S5 E8 - REAL TIME HEAL - Plantar Fasciitis and Overcoming a Medicalized Mindset with Karen
    Oct 24 2025
Our REAL TIME HEALS are some of the most powerful episodes to date. Getting into the messy middle with someone and helping them sort through the mindset shifts necessary to thrive in this work is a privilege and a joy. Today I bring you Karen. Karen is a nurse and a mother of twins. For over ten years she has suffered with Plantar Fasciitis in different degrees of intensity, and on a fateful day not long ago she was opened to this work which changed everything. From crawling down the hall to her daughters’ room to enduring excruciating shots in her feet that provided little to no relief, Karen has been through it. But today she has a new lease on life. Join us for a clear and powerful look at this work in action! XOOX n. • S5 E7 - "The First Thing to Leave Was the Fear" - Migraines, Generational Autoimmune Issues, and Self-Regulation with Justine
    Oct 17 2025
Today I have an incredible interview with Justine Stull. Justine is one of the admins on my Heal with Nicole and Nicole Sachs Support Circle communities. She's been with us for a few years, and she's just so wise. There's nothing like sitting with someone who has really walked through the work herself and now takes other people through with her beautiful guidance and caring comments on our pages. Today, Justine and I are going to be talking about her own chronic pain journey and all of the impactful practices she's gathered along the way - with a focus on self-compassion and self-regulation. One of my favorite things she says in the beginning is, "The first thing to leave was the fear." That's a great place to start! Enjoy this conversation filled with so many gold nuggets! XOXO n. • S5 E6: Complete Recovery Despite an Abnormal MRI with Lisa
    Oct 10 2025
Lisa Frattini was in severe pain when an MRI showed an abnormality that scared her to death. As I know from experience, seeing a significant problem inside one’s body and hearing about a dark prognosis from a physician can really rock your world. After a childhood of people pleasing and overcaring for those around her, Lisa was overflowing with big feelings and the vestiges of stored trauma. I have had the privilege of being with Lisa for years in community and at our June OMEGA retreats in New York, and she has an amazing story to tell. Join us for a triumphant and joyful conversation about pain, fear, community, and ultimately a chronic pain-free life. I’m excited to share it with you. XOOX n. 🟢 Finally break free of chronic symptoms with JournalSpeak ➡️ LEARN HOW: https://bit.ly/3IsmzN4 ~~~ People can be our biggest tiggers. How do we walk that tightrope, honoring our need for authenticity and belonging? Differing ideas & opinions are everywhere — family, friends, online.
