    Trigger Warning: Miscarriage

In this deeply personal episode of The Daily Nothings, Meghan opens up about her recent miscarriage and the emotional, physical, and spiritual journey that followed. With honesty, vulnerability, and the comfort of being back behind the mic with Courtney, she shares the realities of miscarriage that so many women experience but often carry alone.

We talk about the waves of grief, the confusion and fear, the unexpected steadiness, and the quiet moments of gratitude that can coexist in loss. Whether you’ve walked through miscarriage yourself or you’re supporting someone who has, this conversation offers compassion, understanding, and practical ways to show up for one another.

Our hope is that this episode helps you feel seen, less isolated, and gently supported—no matter where you are in your own story.

  • Catholic Liturgy Explained feat. Ken Ogorek
    Nov 24 2025

    Send us a text

Curious how the Catholic Church selects the Sunday readings and why they seem to connect so perfectly? In this episode, we unpack the structure of Catholic liturgy, the purpose of the Lectionary, and the surprising logic behind the weekly readings. Turns out the Church has been curating a storyline long before “curated content” was a trend.

Featuring Ken Ogorek, longtime catechetical leader and co-author (with Scott Hahn) of Breaking the Bread. Ken has spent more than three decades forming Catholics through diocesan leadership, national catechetical work, and his writings, including youth and adult catechisms. He currently serves on the pastoral staff of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and brings a clear, practical approach to understanding Scripture, liturgy, and the Church’s teaching.

    Discussion Questions:

    1. What does your relationship with praying with Scripture look like right now? Are there particular ways of praying with the Word that draw you in?
    2. Do you have a favorite Scripture passage you return to when you pray? What makes it so meaningful for you?
    3. How might the Lord be inviting you to pray more intentionally with Scripture—especially the Sunday readings? What small, practical steps can you take to weave Scripture into your daily prayer rhythm?

  • This One Goes Out To The Loudest Girl In The Room feat. Jane Dixon
    Nov 10 2025

    Send us a text

This one’s for the loud girl — the one who laughs too hard, talks too much, and sometimes wonders if she’s too much. In this episode, Courtney and Jane dive into the beauty and chaos of being bold, outspoken, and authentic — especially in the world of dating. From confidence and calling to the art of holy boldness and navigating relationships with grace, this conversation reminds every “loud girl” that her voice has a purpose — and it’s meant to be heard.

    Discussion Questions:

    1. Have you ever felt like you had to “tone yourself down” to be more likable or approachable? Why do you think so many women feel that pressure?
    2. How can being confident and outspoken actually reflect God’s design for femininity?
    3. What does it look like to honor who God made you to be—in friendships, work, and relationships—without apologizing for it?

    Oct 27 2025

    Send us a text

What does it really mean to live to the heights? In this episode of The Daily Nothings, Courtney and Meghan dive into the life and legacy of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati—a Catholic young adult who lived with contagious joy, deep faith, and a bold love for others.

As the patron of SEEK and a model for modern Catholic missionaries, Pier Giorgio shows us how to live our faith with authenticity, courage, and humor in the ordinary moments of life. From mountain hikes to mission fields, his “little yeses” changed everything.

Join us as we talk about how his story still inspires Catholic young adults, missionaries, and anyone seeking holiness in the modern world.

    Discussion Questions:

    1. Have you been to SEEK before? If so, how did you encounter God? If not, what is another moment where you really encountered Christ?
    2. What about St. Pier Giorgio Frassati strikes you? What do you want to learn more about him?
    3. Since SEEK falls on the first week of January, how are you hoping to encounter the Lord more in 2026?

  • How To Ditch Hustle Culture
    Oct 13 2025

    Send us a text

We’ve all been there — saying “yes” to too much, drinking lukewarm coffee at 3 PM, and calling burnout “grind season.” But what if hustle culture isn’t holy? In this episode, Courtney and Meghan unpack the lie that constant productivity equals purpose.

They’ll talk about what it looks like to find rest in a world that glorifies overworking, why doing less can actually help you love God (and people) more, and how to stop measuring your worth by your to-do list.

If you’ve ever said, “I’ll rest when I’m done,” this one’s for you.
