  • Stress Bragging | Episode 66
    Jun 6 2024

    Send us a Text Message.

In this episode, Ron and Kristin discuss "Stress Bragging". For some people in the United States, long work hours are a status symbol and many like to brag about their hard work and long hours. This could be perpetuated by the fact that the average worker in the U.S. works more hours than most of their European counterparts. As a matter of fact, the U.S. works approximately seven more weeks per year than Switzerland.

While workers might like to engage in this practice, studies reveal that stress bragging causes someone to be less respected and less likely to acquire help when needed. Finally, this episode will unpack some of the reasons for stress bragging, and help those who engage in this practice rethink the way they talk about work.
