    In Episode #19, Matt and Ash share Diana Nyad's incredible story of swimming from Cuba to Florida. She became the first person to complete this long-distance swim, covering 103 miles in under 60 hours. Nyad attempted the swim four times before finally succeeding at the age of 63. Her journey was filled with challenges, including thunderstorms, waves, the Gulf Stream, cold water, sharks, and jellyfish. Despite these obstacles, Nyad persevered and inspired many with her determination and resilience. Despite multiple failed attempts, she never gave up on her dream. She finally achieved her goal, redefining age and limits. Her story teaches us to believe in ourselves, challenge societal limitations, and never give up on our dreams.

Honnold's self-awareness and ability to eliminate distractions contributed to his achievements. The idea of being fearless is a myth; it's about responding to fear differently. The brain's response to fear can be shaped through experience and preparation.
