  • Chapter 1: A 10-Year-Old President // Don't Stop Book
    Jun 18 2022

I grew up beyond rural in a small town of less than 500 people. Most

people owned at least five different kinds of animals. Some of them were friends, but most were food. Gravel was just as common as blacktop, and there was usually at least one truck per family. In the summer, baseball and the Current River were king.

Dreams were small, and for the most part that is what people wanted. I remember feeling different. I dreamed about being the president of the United States.

  • Robby Dawkins on Escaping Death and Imprisonment Helping the Afghanistan Underground Church
    Oct 26 2021

Robby is an international best-selling author, evangelist and passionate church equipper in the U.S. and in 70+ countries.

During Robby’s 30 years in pastoral ministry, he planted a church in Aurora, a high-risk city in Illinois with elevated crime rates and gang activity. 80 percent of church members came to Christ at his church, and 60 percent of those members through power encounters (prophetic, healing, deliverance, or ministry of God’s manifest presence). The mayor of Aurora along with its chief of police bestowed upon Robby and the Church an acknowledgement that he and the church made a significant difference in Aurora’s crime rate reduction. Robby often credits his time pastoring in Aurora as preparation for his ministry in some of the most dangerous countries in the world.

In 2019, Robby began planting power evangelism schools in the underground church in the Middle East in countries like Pakistan, Armenia, and Iraq. His heart is to raise up underground leaders to transform the most dangerous countries on Earth with the gospel.

Robby has authored three books, including his international best-seller ‘Do What Jesus Did’. He has also been featured in Darren Wilson’s documentaries, Sid Roth’s “It’s Supernatural”, TBN’s “Praise the Lord”, as well as many others.

  • Eric Johnson on Defeating Anxiety
    Sep 21 2021

In the fall of 2020, Eric and Candace Johnson felt a shift regarding their future. They were, at the time, Senior Pastors of Bethel Church in Redding, CA, having served in that role for almost 10 years. In following their heart, they stepped down from this position and stepped into a space where they didn’t know where they were going, but knew it was what they were supposed to do.

As they were transitioning, Eric felt a pull towards the Carolinas, which is funny because they both had never been there. So in January of 2021, they rented a car and spent 8 days driving through both North and South Carolina. They wanted to see some different areas but mostly, they just drove around for 8 days with the goal of seeing if a particular area or city was highlighted to them. They thoroughly enjoyed their time in the Carolinas and its beauty, people, history, and culture. But there was something about Greenville, South Carolina that stood out to them.

When they got back to Redding, CA, they spent a lot of time praying, talking, and processing with their daughters, family, and friends about where they were sensing they would go next.

In March, 2021 they went back to Greenville to continue down the road to see if this was what they were to do next. Their prayer going back was “God, may this visit be a clear 'no' or a 'yes'”. When they drove into the city and began to walk around downtown, something happened in their hearts for Greenville.

So, they began to make contact with different leaders, pastors, and people who live in the Greenville area to get to know the city more and process what they felt God was leading them to. Their heart was to find out what God is doing there and partner with that as well as to explore what they can contribute to the bigger story of Greenville.

On April 4th—Easter Sunday—after praying and processing with their daughters and some close friends, they felt a release to make a commitment to start a church in Greenville, South Carolina

  • Elijah Stephens On The Evidence for Miracles In His Documentary Send Proof
    Sep 14 2021

Elijah Stephens always wrestled with the topic of miracles. He grew up in a Christian home, and was taught to believe in God at a young age. However, he was abused by his mom, who was also his Bible school teacher. The abuse would result in C-PTSD, and lingering questions about the nature of God. When Elijah was a teenager, he saw his mom conned by faith healers, and rejected modern miracles as ruses to make money. In 1999, he went to a Christian college, and began experiencing doubts while studying philosophy. He reasoned that seeing miracles with his own eyes would erase his doubts, and having seen what he thought were miracles, he became an associate pastor in the Vineyard Movement from 2005-2011.

After having served in that movement, he went to school at Bethel. Upon leaving the church, his former senior pastor, leaves the faith. He said there was no God, and that the miracles Elijah saw were illusions. This sent Elijah on a journey to look for miracle evidence. If miracles occur, they should leave behind evidence.

During his time at Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry, he was inspired to make a film about miracles with medical evidence. His hope was to encourage people to start sending miracles for research purposes. He put up a website, and it went nowhere. He received a few testimonies that were unverifiable. So he decided to look into going back into ministry instead, and was receiving job offers.

In February of 2015, Elijah was at his house, when his friends started texting him that a traveling preacher named Shawn Bolz had called his name out at church. Therefore, he drove to the church, and was told by the pastor a “prophet word.” In the word, Elijah is told his name, birthday, that he lived in Chattanooga, and grew up in Georgia, as well as his wife’s name. The speaker then tells Elijah, “God is commissioning you. Go make the film”. In The winter of 2015, Elijah was able to raise $130,000 on Kickstarter for Send Proof. Send Proof was his first documentary. While working on the film Elijah began pursuing two masters degrees: Apologetics; and Science and Religion, which he finished both in Dec. 2019. The goal was to research the most difficult questions about healing miracles.

    -----
Why is the film called Send Proof

One of the biggest hindrances to researching miracle claims in the evangelical movement is that Christians often don’t value the need for evidence. The purpose of Send Proof is to change their perspective by calling on those who claim to be healed and ministries that report those healings to allow the Global Medical Research Institute (GMRI) to investigate their claims. We believe the burden of proof falls on those making the claim.  Thus, we want people to Send Proof of healing miracles.

Why is Send Proof such a controversial movie?

It is the first documentary of its kind that shows miracle claims that have been researched and published in peer-reviewed journals. If miracles do occur, it challenges the prevailing naturalistic understanding of reality throughout the West. Modern miracles can point to the possibility of the existence of God, the resurrection of Jesus, and divine intervention in creation.

    How can we see it?

It will have a limited theatrical release, be shown in churches, and video on demand starting Sept 14th. Visit Sendproof.com for more details.
