The Price of Success: Controlling Time and Destiny

    Watch On YOUTUBE: https://youtu.be/OdhI3zMB-KE

Success is a journey that demands sacrifices, commitment, and a strategic approach to managing time. Reflecting on one individual's experience, it becomes evident that the cost of success is indeed worth it, particularly when it allows a person to work for passion rather than money. This post delves into their journey, the lessons learned, and the principles that have guided them.

    The Cost of Success

For five years, my guest didn't sleep for more than four hours a day. This was the price paid to establish initial success in properties. During this period, they chose jobs that allowed control over their time, working from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM or sometimes until 1:00 AM, which gave the mornings for personal growth and business development. The core lesson here is that whoever controls your time controls your destiny. It's not about who controls your money but your time.

    Facing Rejection and Building Wealth

In network marketing, while selling broadband and telephone services, my guest made an average of £450 a week in addition to their salary. Embracing rejection was key, understanding that out of every ten calls, at least one would result in a positive response. Over time, the conversion rate improved, but the key was perseverance and not fearing rejection.

    Diversifying Income Sources

A critical aspect of financial stability and wealth creation is having multiple income sources. Smart believes in having at least four income streams. Job security alone does not lead to wealth; jobs provide enough to sustain and act as a seed for creating wealth. Wealth creation comes from owning assets that generate income, such as properties, stocks, or shares.

The Importance of Credit and Financial Health

In the Western world, a credit record is more critical than a job or career. A poor credit record can have severe consequences, such as losing job opportunities or being denied mortgages. Managing finances prudently and maintaining a good credit score is essential.

    Self-Evaluation and Mental Fitness

Understanding one's strengths and weaknesses is vital. Focusing on strengths and outsourcing tasks that fall within weaknesses is important. Continuous learning is also crucial; reading books, seeking information, and staying informed are key. Avoiding distractions from social media and using time wisely, even during idle moments like waiting in traffic or at the doctor's office, is essential.

    Conclusion

Success requires dedication, strategic time management, and continuous growth. Controlling time, embracing rejection, diversifying income, and leveraging unique talents are crucial. Surrounding oneself with successful individuals, maintaining good financial health, and appreciating the journey are essential. By following these principles, one can achieve not only financial success but also a fulfilling and purposeful life.

  • Unlocking Wealth: Leveraging Systems and Mindsets for Success
    Jul 8 2024
Unlocking Wealth: Leveraging Systems and Mindsets for Success Good afternoon, good evening, or good morning—wherever you may be! I hope this message finds you in great spirits after a wonderful weekend. If you're tuning in from the UK, what a week it has been! From a landslide election victory for the Labour Party and the celebration of our new Prime Minister to the excitement of the Three Lions making it to the semi-finals—it's been a remarkable time. Let's not forget the thrilling Grand Prix, where our British champion Lewis Hamilton took the lead, showcasing outstanding skill and professionalism. These events have certainly energized me, and I hope they've done the same for you. But now, let's turn our focus to something more pertinent—continuing our insightful series on Vision, Responsibility, and Value. Revisiting Last Week's Insights... Last week, we kicked off with part one of our series, featuring a thought-provoking conversation with my friend Pastor Smart. The response has been overwhelming, with many reaching out to express their gratitude for the valuable insights shared. Pastor Smart, if you're reading this, a heartfelt thank you for your invaluable lessons and experiences. Diving Deeper: Wealth Creation and Mindsets This week, we dive deeper into our discussions, where Pastor Smart expounds on his experiences and the wisdom he imparts to his mentees about wealth creation, mindsets, mentoring, and capacity building. My goal for you is simple: as you absorb this information, may it inspire growth and motivate you to implement some of the strategies shared. Should you have any questions or need clarity, feel free to reach out, and I will gladly assist or even consult Pastor Smart for further insights. The Wealth Potential in Five Countries Pastor Smart introduces a fascinating concept: if you live in one of five countries—the United Kingdom, America, Australia, New Zealand, or Canada—and are between the ages of 21 and 41, becoming a multi-millionaire within 20 years is entirely within your reach. The systems in these countries are designed in such a way that, if understood and leveraged correctly, can create enormous wealth. Imagine the system as a powerful current in a river. Even if you're only capable of modest effort (let's say two strokes per second), if you align yourself with the current moving at five strokes per second, you will progress significantly faster. Conversely, fighting against the current, no matter how hard you try, will only push you backward. Practical Application: Investing Minimum Wage Earnings Consider someone working a minimum-wage job at Tesco, earning £1,750 monthly. If this individual is young (around 20 or 21) and aligns with an organization like ours, we propose a 20-year plan. By setting aside £750 monthly and investing it in income-generating systems like the S&P 500 (which yielded 24% last year) or other reliable investment accounts, substantial wealth can be accumulated. Building Wealth Through Strategic Investments Let’s break it down further: By investing £750 monthly in an account yielding an average of 10%, the cumulative interest over 20 years would result in a portfolio valued at approximately £24 million, with the equity surpassing £30 million. This demonstrates the power of understanding and leveraging the financial systems available. The Importance of Mindset and Responsibility A crucial element of this journey is mindset. Success requires desire, responsibility, and the elimination of blame. It doesn't matter where you come from or your family’s financial history. In these five countries, with the right mindset and understanding of the system, wealth creation is possible. Questioning the Value of University Education Pastor Smart challenges the traditional path of university education, suggesting that for many, apprenticeships offer a more practical and financially rewarding route. By learning a trade and earning while gaining experience, individuals can avoid the burden of student loans and secure well-paying jobs in fields like bricklaying, joinery, and roofing. The Role of Mentorship in Achieving Success Mentorship plays a pivotal role in this journey. By adding value to mentors and learning from their experiences, individuals can fast-track their path to success. Pastor Smart shares a personal anecdote about helping a successful shipping agent, which led to a profitable business partnership. This highlights the importance of giving value in mentor-mentee relationships rather than just seeking personal gain. Expanding Capacity and Seeking Growth To achieve success across various areas of life—relationships, emotions, physical well-being, time, money, career, and spiritual well-being—one must continuously seek growth. Reading books, changing mindsets, and finding mentors in specific fields are crucial steps in this process. Successful mentors, especially those with long-standing success, can ...

  • "The Seven Pillars of Fulfillment: A Journey to Holistic Success"
    Jun 24 2024

Welcome to the EG Success Mindset Podcast. I'm grateful you could join me today, whether you're new or a returning listener from platforms like YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, or Amazon. Your time is valued, and I appreciate your presence. In this podcast, we delve into personal development and transformation, offering insightful discussions, expert reviews, and book series reviews.

Watch the Video Version Here: https://youtu.be/-2y-kUda9tE

Today's episode focuses on a driving question in my life: why do we do what we do? Before diving into that, I want to share a personal story. On May 21st, I was in a car accident with my son. Despite demolishing a bus stop and our vehicle tumbling twice, we escaped with minor scratches by God's grace. This incident reinforced my commitment to share valuable information to impact lives positively.

In this episode, I'll discuss seven areas crucial for a fulfilled life. These include physical health, financial mastery, relationship enrichment, spiritual growth, emotional well-being, vocational fulfilment, and social connection. Balancing these areas is essential for a complete life. For example, nurturing your physical health is foundational, as we're spiritual beings having a physical experience.

Lastly, I'll share upcoming interviews with people who've succeeded in unique ways and are making significant changes locally and globally. Success is a journey of daily growth, not a destination. So, let's explore these seven life areas together. If you find the information useful, like, share, and comment on how you're implementing it in your life.

I'm from Kenya, and when I came to UK I used to tell my wife, I'm not a rabbit. I don't eat green vegetables. I eat refined food, i.e., meat and carbs. How ignorant I was, and I'm so glad that she never gave up on encouraging me to eat right. She introduced me to salads and supplements, and I think, wow, that was a God-sent lady.

Exercise. Are you taking physical exercise? Do you go for a walk? Are you stretching? Are you breathing right? What about rest? Do you sleep enough, or are you chasing money? Without sleep, rest, and nutrition, your body ages faster. Now, let's talk about emotional well-being. I've worked in mental health hospitals, and life can be challenging. Certain circumstances may overwhelm us, and sometimes it's not our fault.

Now, vocational fulfilment involves finding purpose in your work. Discover what you are created to do. Align your job with your unique gifts, because fulfilling work enriches life. Balancing professional success with personal fulfilment is crucial. Financial mastery is also vital. Align financial goals with personal values. Don’t outsource financial responsibility; take charge yourself. Learn to make, keep, and multiply money for growth and expansion.

Relationship enrichment involves effective communication, conflict resolution, and building trust. Improve relationships by starting with self-improvement. Social connections are crucial; build networks that work. Embrace diversity, empathy, and social responsibility. Lastly, spiritual growth is about connecting with the divine and inner wisdom. We are all spiritual beings, and cultivating mindfulness, gratitude, and inner peace is essential. Focus on all seven areas of life for balance, fulfilment, and success.

Life is a journey that every single one of us needs to engage in personally. So the seven areas of life is just to offer a holistic roadmap for personal development and empowerment. By nurturing each one of these seven areas, you can achieve balance, fulfilment and lasting success.

Until next time, thank you very much for watching. Like, subscribe and share. See you next time.

  • New Post-Covid Money Series... #10 Good Money Habits
    Jul 19 2021

    #1) Earn IT!! WORK SMART:

How do you earn your living?

There are two ways to make an ethical living, you work and money works. Employ BOTH…

Money makes an EXCELLENT #servant and a Horrible Master!

If your only reason for working is money, you are trapped in a rat race. Exiting the 'rat race' will require a shift in #Mindset… from working for money to working to provide value and rewarded with money among other benefits.

If you find yourself with more month than money, to is a sign you need to re-evaluate your priorities. A change of heart and mind [#repentance] is necessary for this to happen.

To win the #Money Game, you'll need a side #hustle… that is another money topic for another day.

    #Parenting Tip!

If you have children, train them the value of hard work. #Chores are a great way to start, and it also increases the probability that they will take care of their #environment better in your absence.

    #Work!

Work is not a dirty word. You and I were created to create. This is all work.

    #Affirmation:

I love my work and I am well compensated for the value I bring to the marketplace.

  • #8. The Art of Goal Setting & Achieving Series_Universal_Laws_Law of Vibration & Attraction
    Mar 1 2021
Law of Vibration & Attraction Quote of the day: “This may surprise or even shock you, but you have the God-given power to make up and create in your mind whatever good you desire.” Rev. Ike Using the Law of Attraction is a 4-step process: seek, ask, believe and receive. Let’s go into detail on each aspect. Seek: to try and get or find something especially something that is not physical (Camb. Dicti.) investigate, search, aspire, look around for, fish for, ransack for, ask, strive for, root out, probe and look for… in other wards, desire inspires seeking. What is your hearts desire? Ask: to put a question to someone, or to request an answer from someone. Synonyms: inquire, interrogate, query, and questionBelieve: Accept that (something) is true, especially without proof (Oxford Dic). To accept something as true, genuine, or real, to have a firm conviction as to the goodness, efficacy, or ability of something (M.Webstar dic). To have faith, be confident, think, be convinced, accept, conclude, affirm, be certain, feel sure, conceive and postulate Receive: to get or be given something: acquire, collect, inherit, obtain, accommodate, greet with open arms, intussusception, secure, take possession of.Let's look a little deeper... ----more---- 1. Seeking Seeking is the conscious effort to get to God through the natural means (mental or physical) — to constantly set our minds toward God in all our desires, experiences; to direct our minds and hearts toward him through the means of his revelation that comes to us as we seek Him. Mat 6:33 "But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also." What or Who are you looking for? Amos 5:14: Seek (long for, require) good and not evil, that you may live; And so may the Lord God of hosts be with you, Just as you have said! How do you seek? Jere 29:13 Amp Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. Mat 7:7-8 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” Can you see why your goal is coming to you? 2. Ask: To put a question to someone, or to request an answer from someone. Synonyms: inquire, interrogate, query, and question. Are you wishing or asking? Observe how a child asks, they have a sense of certainty they will receive. Why do we as adults wish more than ask? Who has poisoned our thinking? Who are you asking? If you doubt the existence of God, can you really ask Him? If you don’t think or believe He loves and cares for you, can you really receive from Him? Isaiah 65:24: (ESV) Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear. How do you ask? Examine your WHY James 4:2-3 You are jealous and covet [what others have] and your desires go unfulfilled; [so] you become murderers. [To hate is to murder as far as your hearts are concerned.] You burn with envy and anger and are not able to obtain [the gratification, the contentment, and the happiness that you seek], so you fight and war. You do not have, because you do not ask.[Or] you do ask [God for them] and yet fail to receive, because you ask with wrong purpose and evil, selfish motives. Your intention is [when you get what you desire] to spend it in sensual pleasures. James Allen in As a Man Thinketh said you can not travel within and stand still without. Question your motives as to why you are asking for what you desire. Is it your want or another persons want for you? 3. Believe: To have a firm conviction as to the goodness, efficacy, or ability of something What & in Whom do you believe? Everyone believes something! Even the one who thinks s/he doesn't still does. Like in my previous podcast on prayer where we explored the nature of prayer and said everyone prays (click here to listen), the capacity to believe is inbuilt. The direction though is based on your choice. Mark 9:23 Jesus said to him, “[You say to Me,] ‘If You can?’ All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts [in Me]!” How do you believe? Psalm 145:18 (Amp) The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth (without guile). Mark 11:23 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and [a]does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. 1 Thess. 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. 4. Receive: To get or be given something: acquire, collect, inherit, obtain. How ...

Quote of the day: “There’s a redemptive power that making a choice has rather than feeling like you’re an effect to all the things that are happening. Make a choice. Just decide what it’s gonna be, who you’re gonna be, how you are going to do it. Just decide. And from that point, the universe will get out of your way.” Will Smith THE DREAMERS ARE THE BUILDERS “Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so you shall become. Your VISION is the promise of what you shall one day BE; your IDEAL is the prophecy of what you shall at last UNVEIL. The greatest achievement was at first, and for a time, a dream. The oak sleeps in the acorn; the bird waits in the egg; and in the highest vision of the soul, a waking angel stirs. Dreams are the seedlings of realities. Your circumstances may be uncongenial, but they shall not long remain so, if you but perceive an ideal and strive to reach it. You cannot travel WITHIN, and stand still WITHOUT." James Allen, As A Man Thinketh Your Hearts Desires What you want. We are still working on the Science and Art of getting what you WANT NOT what you NEED. One of the reasons I love the UK is that there are provisions to help you with what you NEED and a legal system that allows one to pursue what they want. On refection, did you set a goal based on your needs or wants? Sometimes what you want is also what’s needed. The desires of our hearts are based on wants. Every comfort you are living in today was as a result of wants. Let us not be stagnated by those who tell us to be satisfied with your needs being met,. If this was sufficient, inventions like the phone, cars and planes would never have manifested for us to enjoy; it is the Fathers' desire to give you the kingdom. Phil 4:6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; With this in mind, let us look at the LAWS that govern how we create our realities. I will outline the laws and we will explore each of them in little detail over the next few weeks. This way you can begin to understand that the coincidences in your life have a purpose whether you know it or not. The ultimate purpose being leading you to God the Father through the Son Jesus Christ. The Law of Vibration of Attraction: everything moves, or vibrates, nothing rests. The Law of Perpetual Transmutation: explains that everything in the universe is the manifestation of energy in various levels of vibration. The unseen is moving into the unseen. The Law of Rhythm: that everything is moving to and fro, flowing in and out up and down, left to right etc.The Law of Relativity: all things are relative, including all laws. The Law of Polarity: everything in the universe has its oppositeThe Law of Cause and Effect/ karmic law or sowing & reaping: whatever you send into the Universe comes back. The Law of Gender: everything in nature is both male and female. This is the law of procreation. Today I will talk about how we exist in three levels of awareness (Spirit/Soul/Body) and the relationship between the The Spiritual Plane of Inspired Thoughts (Highest Potential) Desire or Fear (vibrations)ThoughtsImagination It’s vitally important to remember the words of one of the wisest kings who manifested supernatural realities like no other in his time. King Solomon said ‘guard your heart with all diligence for out of it flows the issues of life’ prov. 4:23. The BEST way to guard your heart is to give it to a MASTER Protector. One who’s ULTIMATE DESIRE is to keep you safe - Jesus Christ the MESSIAH all other so called masters, prophets and even gurus are still dead and the ones who are live are heading there, DECIDE! (click here to watch the case for Christ on Amazon) Remember the law of perpetual transmutation that states that Spirit/Energy is forever moving from the unseen to the seen - or from spirit to form. This is the nature of consciousness. We are spiritual beings first and manifest in the physical plane last. We capture spirit’s communication by thought vibrations. When we are aligned with a frequency, the brain translates the waves into a message we understand - either a feeling (heart) an image or a word in the brain. We can use the human head to represent this part of manifestation the head is the part that we use to judge the world. It is here that we can make decisions to be or not to be. Here we choose. In this plane of existence, all things exist as potential, waves or vibrations. Using our imagination and reasoning, we begin to combine what we perceive in relation to our reality - need or want. The Intellectual Plane of Ideas (Middle Potential) Belief/Expectancy - perceptions, choices, informationFeelings/Vibration - body biological The brain is a switching station that is responsible for decoding the incoming intellectual message while the heart interprets the vibrational value of the message. If you live too much in your head, you ...
