The Fertile Mind with Russell Davis

De: Russell Davis | Coach and Therapist
  • Resumen

  • The fertile void is a term from Gestalt therapy. It is the space between our old story before we have stepped into and claimed our new story. In the fertile void, we can often feel stuck and frustrated. What often keeps us stuck is trying too hard out of fear of never creating the life we want deep inside. Find out why self-help tools and techniques typically don’t work, and let Russell guide you upstream to your innate well-being and confidence to get unstuck and claim your life of possibility and purpose. Whether it’s creating the family you crave or the success you know you deserve, Russell will help you see how misunderstandings about the nature of thoughts and feelings mean we get in our own way from being who we want to be and creating what we want. Russell will help you change your relationship with your thoughts, feelings and sense of identity to help you know you are OK whether you feel OK or not and live the life true to yourself and not your habitual insecure thoughts. • Infinity Meditation
    Jun 25 2024

Some time ago, I shared my favourite meditation, so I thought it was about time I shared it again. This is a meditation I recorded myself based on meditations I found powerful in helping me connect to a feeling of peace, well-being, and love—a feeling of being HOME. Enjoy coming home where you are safe, loved, and welcome, and not alone.

I have spoken in the past about why I am not a fan of affirmations. In this episode, I explore why that is the case and how you can go beyond affirmations and connect to your innate worth, confidence and well-being without trying to persuade yourself of anything.

Having an engineering background, I find models can be a helpful way of understanding things that appear to be complex. Relationships can be very complex! In this episode, I share a simple model that I and my clients have found incredibly helpful. It helps understand what creates disconnected relationships and how to foster more moments of connection.

I am actually describing a very visual model, which you can see here: https://youtu.be/lSGDtDq6ODQ

Refreshing and Real

Such a great message for those of us struggling with fertility as it's so easy to just consume data and continue searching for the next tip to help us get pregnant. This puts things in greater perspective and really helped me stop spiraling down the internet rabbit hole.

Not what i expected

Barely talks about infertility. Talks too much about himself. Best episode was with a guest speaker who actually spoke about infertility.
