    Meanwhile, Leverkusen etch their name in history as the first undefeated team in Bundesliga history, while Köln joins Darmstadt in relegation to the 2. Bundesliga. Union narrowly escapes the relegation playoffs, securing safety with a dramatic win. Bochum now faces off against Fortuna Dusseldorf for the final Bundesliga spot. We also pay tribute to one of Germany's greatest ever players, Toni Kroos. He will be retiring at the end of this season. Stay tuned for a full-season review next week!
