This is the growth team podcast. But we'll talk about the people, processes, and platforms that set up a growth team to deliver world-class results.

Hey, this is Chris. And the whole goal of this introductory episode is to kind of set the stage and let everyone know what the plan is, for this podcast to come up. Before we get into all that, it is important to note that this is an internal podcast. It's only meant for the team here at lean labs. And eventually, we can repurpose some of the content, maybe recreate it for different podcasts. But for now, nobody's listening beside us, because it's not available anywhere. Alright, so why are we doing this? First, this will force us to look at how we're doing things. And to understand what's actually working. It requires us to look at our processes, to look at how we approach work, and so that we can actually improve things across the board, you know, by finding areas that probably just need some love, okay, so whether that's how you're actually approaching your workday. Some of the ways you do professional development, the things you're actually learning some of the processes, right, we have processes for how to write a blog post, or maybe you're doing something that actually makes you more efficient. That's something that we can share across a team. or two,

we get to build a repository of our processes, and then some team notes, so everyone can reference them whenever the idea is that

we basically use some proper tagging properly, you know, just keywords and stuff, so that now on your cell phone, you can just quickly research how we do something. Or if you want to pull up a certain note, you can just bring it up without having to go through the entire Slack database to find this information. Finally, number three, we get to practice podcasting, the get growth show is coming. And this is going to be a great way for us to get reps in without having the stress of running, running that project, right? This is only a slice and so it it's basically the same as shooting a loom or you know something on video art so that the team can just learn something and said, we're doing it the iPhone is how is this going to work? every team member is going to be sent a private link, this podcast is going to be able to open up on whatever your player of choice is. Since you're listening in the first episode, though, you probably already know this. But more than likely, I will be putting this in one of our slack channels just so everybody can start figuring this out. I'm not even sure how this really works. For this personal emails will be okay, because you want it to actually sync up with your phone, and your email. So don't worry about the lien labs email when you're trying to get the salt connected.

The plan moving forward. Okay, anytime you are in a meeting, or there's a note the entire team should hear. hit the record button, send me the audio. You can probably plan for this happening often when you're in meetings with Kevin. The goal here is for everyone to get a few reps in. Just so we all learn how to do supply casting a little better. If you have a topic that you want to cover, please bring it up and we can discuss getting it made. Otherwise, this should just be simple, right? You're recording a video you're doing something with another team member, you know, say you're talking Core Web Vitals, right? Just hit the record button, set the stage for the start of the episode. Meaning what are we actually trying to accomplish in this conversation and have the conversation, close it up, capture that audio and just send it over? Okay, so this concludes the introductory episode. Hopefully, you guys are excited about this. I think it's a great opportunity for us to really hone our processes and the way we do things. And so let's see how it goes.
