A gunman attempted to take former President Trumps life at a rally in Butler Pennsylvania. Trump was escorted safely off the stage by Secret Service after approximately eight shots had been fired by the gunman. Corey Carperator was fatally wounded protecting his family from the gunman. Two others were wounded.

House of the Dragon is an American fantasy drama television series created by George R. R. Martin and Ryan Condal for HBO. A prequel to Game of Thrones (2011–2019), it is the second television series in Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire franchise. Condal and Miguel Sapochnik served as the showrunners for the first season. Based on parts of Martin's 2018 book Fire & Blood, the series begins about 100 years after the Seven Kingdoms are united by the Targaryen conquest, nearly 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, and 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen.

The Supreme Court announces ruling regarding presidential immunity against prosecution for actions while in office. The decision has been generating mixed reactions leading some Americans to believe this would give the President absolute power and much authority. While some of the verbiage remains to be unclear it seems that the decision is only intended for executive actions
