  • Ep. 40: Mike Agugliaro - Building Trust and Brand Power: Insights on Marketing, Serving, & Leadership
    Jun 13 2024

This week's episode of the Home Service Hustle Podcast features a special guest, Mike Agugliaro, the CEO and Founder of FUDOG Group LLC. Mike stands out in the business world with his unique approach—he doesn't believe in hard selling. Instead, he focuses on presenting options, educating clients thoroughly, and allowing them to make informed decisions without any pressure. This genuine approach helps build trust, especially in the Home Service Industry, where establishing credibility is challenging.

One key topic Mike discusses is the concept of brand. Many people mistakenly think that a brand is just a logo or a branded vehicle, but Mike emphasizes that it's much more. Your brand encompasses your company culture, processes, team members, customer interactions, and mission. It's the overall impression you leave on the world. Effective branding requires alignment between your image and your actual practices. Your team must genuinely believe in and live out your company culture every day. A strong brand is achieved when everything and everyone in your organization works in harmony, projecting the high level of service you provide.

Mike also highlights three critical areas for anyone in the Home Service space: Marketing, Sales (or as he prefers, serving), and Leadership. Understanding marketing is crucial—it’s about effectively communicating your services' benefits and guiding clients with integrity. Sales, according to Mike, should be viewed as serving people, focusing on genuinely helping them. This approach fosters trust and authenticity. Leadership, on the other hand, involves guiding your team to become better versions of themselves and holding them accountable. Mastering these three areas is key to running a successful business. Mike has so many things to teach people that want to grow and improve. We cover sales strategies, culture, and so much more. You definitely don't want to miss this episode.

  • Ep. 38: Corey Berrier- Empowering Sales Success
    Apr 4 2024

Hello, business and sales enthusiasts! We have a great episode for you this week. We had the pleasure of talking with Corey Berrier, who is not only an amazing sales coach and author but also the founder and CEO of The Tradeschools, which is an amazing program and mentorship tailored to the HVAC Industry. You get to learn sales techniques that are industry-specific from the pros, take part in interactive workshops, and even get post-training support. Corey is all about teaching people how to have the right mindset in business and life in general. You have to be willing to spend money to grow. Don't get in your own way. He talks about the importance of finding your confidence and remembering that you should put yourself in the customer's shoes when you do a sales pitch rather than projecting your own bias or opinion. Just because you don't have an indoor air quality set up in your house, that doesn't mean that the customer wouldn't benefit from it. Corey also hosts an awesome podcast called Successful Life. He gets so much joy from hearing people's stories and connecting with people so they can all help each other learn and grow. That's what it's all about right? We should come together and share our experiences to help lift each other up and guide the way to mutual success. Corey's story is inspiring. He had his fair share of struggles, as we all do, but he pulled himself up out of the darkness and into the light. And now that he's there, he wants to help others do the same thing. Pain is growth. We have to experience pain sometimes in order to really be prepared to push hard. And it's all about what you do with that pain. That's the deciding factor. Will you let it bring you down? Or will you use it as a springboard for better things and a better you? I think everyone can learn a lot from the great conversations in this episode between two inspiring men who care so much about helping other people grow and learn.
