  • Ep. 25: Meet the 2024 Steven Whitehouse and Friends Beneficiaries
    Jun 11 2024
In this special two-for-one episode, Casey and Steven sit down with the mothers of this year's Steven Whitehouse and Friends Charity Golf Classic beneficiaries, Adalyn and Ainsley.

First, we talk to Georgia, Adalyn's mom, who shares the heart-wrenching story of Adalyn's cancer diagnosis at just 3 years old. Georgia recounts the surgeries, treatments, and challenges Adalyn has endured and the challenges their family of eight children has faced. She provides a touching insight into Adalyn's resilience and what it's like to parent a child battling cancer.

In the second half, we meet with Brooke, Ainsley's mom. Brooke discusses Ainsley's lifelong battle with seizures and cerebral palsy, her hemispherectomy at the age of four, and the hardships and triumphs along the way. She also shares heartwarming stories about Ainsley's role as a 10 year old big sister and explains how a service dog will significantly enhance her quality of life.

This episode offers a powerful look into the lives of two remarkable families, the strength of their children, and why we decided to make them this year’s beneficiaries. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did and that it compels you to take action to support these two amazing little girls and their families.
