In this episode, Kael finally makes his return to save the show (as well as both Danny and Maxwell) from his absence. Danny and Maxwell listen in with bated breath Kael eats his Froot Loops and then talks about his vacation until Maxwell sidelines the convo, but we redirect and finally get to the story Kael has been promising for days now. Kael also forgot a key detail that he brings up after the ad break (and after Maxwell leaves) but then Kael and Danny start talking about our school schedules this semester, which leads to them talking about trains, which leads to talking about population density, the environment, and learned helplessness (because that's totally a natural progression). In this episode, it is the first episode that is 0% Incredibly Influential and is 100& Highly Successful since Kael is on vacation. However, that doesn't stop Danny and Maxwell from having a good time (I think, I'm writing this while I listen to it). The two Highlies Successful talk about their teaching field experiences, as well as talking about Danny's birthday and how he's an ancient fossil, and how he is bonding more with his fam (too wholesome for me to write a joke about). They also have some very funny technical difficulties because they aren't used to the recording software. After the ad break, Maxwell has to leave so they instead have Kateryna on; they discuss the morality of the Blizzard company and how Overwatch has replaced Danny's girlfriend, as well as the origin of Danny's online name.
