from unmet expectations to seeing motherhood through the wrong lens, in today's podcast, I share some vulnerable places I have been in my walk as a mother and ways I have kept myself from fully enjoying Mother's Day because of my mindset. I also share a special message for those who are painfully walking through Mother's Day, may it be from the loss of your mother, the loss of a child, or a longing that has been unanswered... however the pain is showing up in your life today, I pray the words that have been spoken breathe life over your spirit.

Reminders and a blessing in this episode! I mean, who doesn't like blessings?! I was encouraged as I was recording these episodes, going over the truth and speaking it out loud over my heart and mind. I hope you are just and encouraged by these reminders of WHO God says you are!

Hard days are not foreign to any family life, we are human, therefore we will have off days. But it makes a difference how we choose to live in those moments, days, or weeks and the outcome we will have. On today's podcast we talk about chosing the hard route in taking and inward inventory. We dive into what "looking inward" looks like for us as moms, instead of only looking to fix the problems we see arrise in our children's hearts. This idea is hard and takes time and intentionality but it is always worth it!

"It's ok if our quiet time looks messy or loud and if our prayers look like scattered thoughts" motherhood may not be a season of deep and long devotionals, but it is a season of finding God in moments. There is grace for you in the season of motherhood. Let's seek the Kingdom of God above all else in whatever capacity we can and find a way to embrace the messy and embrace the imperfection and above all else, embrace the Father.

There is power and life in the name of Jesus. Let these words wash over you and as you listen, I pray your heart and soul are filled with truth.
