I am determined for us to have the Merriest Christmas this year, not because we are looking forward to a lottery ticket or a loved one coming back, but because of a reality that changes me from having to muddle through the season to having a hope fueled life. This morning is a morning unlike any other, this is a morning God is calling you to a covenant commitment. The time is now, the invitation is yours and the promise is sure. To not chose is still making a decision. This is not just a gospel call, but a call to authentic walk, authentic freedom, a call to see the brokenness that God has set you free from and not go back to the familiar idols, this is a choice that changes destiny. I also have to warn you, this is not a message for those that want to play holy, play victim, play games with God, this is a message for those who are broken and need a call to action into victory. Satan's fall stemmed from pride that envied God's glory and greatness. Are you letting the enemy steal God's glory in your life by allowing other's envy erode your hope? Too many believers fail to recognize that we are not called to coddle envy and pride, not only are we to remove it from our lives, we also need to protect ourselves from those who are fueled with envy. Can you spot them in your life? If you are under attack, you will find envy lurking around. Today we unveil the blindness of envy and reveal the attack of envy. This is a message to set the captive free! He who has ears, let him hear!

Most people are not aware of the envy in their lives, let alone the effects of it. But they most certainly feel the outcome of their envy but will credit it to other factors that only give birth to.. you guessed it, more envy. Have you ever slept through an alarm? I have and I can still remember the frantic hurry that follows after you realize that you were asleep for way longer than you intended to. Our spiritual life at times wanders off and we spiritually can fall asleep if we aren't mindful of the spiritual "alarm clocks" that was warning you to wake up!
