  • Tell Me What I Want To Hear Or Tell Me The Word of God: Do We/You Really Know The Word of God?
    Aug 25 2020
During this crazy time, we see a lack of biblical understanding among the Church. We want to encourage believers to stay with God and not move with culture. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. Timothy 4:3-4. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15. Join Hosts Elaudys, Michelle, Modeline and contributor Mary as they discuss this timely topic.

  • That Beautiful House On The Sand
    Aug 30 2020

During the Living Epistle Project Radio Program live on the Power of Worship Radio! We discussed "That beautiful house on the sand."

Today we see many "talented" people in the church with great spiritual skills. But as time pass or when push comes to shove, they don't side with God's word.

Let us examine ourselves to make sure our beautiful house is not built on sand but on the rock.

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.

But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."Matthew 7:24-27

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test? 2 Corinthians 13:5

See Matthew 13:24-30 for the parable of the sower/the wheat and the tares.

See the story of Judas Iscariot in the Bible. He had skills. He was the treasurer of Jesus' ministry and we know how his story ended.

  • Storms? Jesus Is The Master Of Them.
    Sep 8 2020
Storms? If you are alert today, you will notice this season is storm-filled. Thinking a lot about the storms that are upon us, which brought up the story of "Jesus calming of the storm" in Matthew 8:23–27, Mark 4:35–41, and Luke 8:22–25. The disciples thought many thoughts, including questioning whether or not Jesus cared for their wellbeing. As He concerned Himself with the wellbeing of the disciples in their storm, Jesus, our Anchor is concerned about us His followers. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Matthew 10:30 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33 For I know that my Redeemer lives, And He shall stand at last on the earth. Job 19:25 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust. Psalm 91:2 He got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the waves, "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. Mark 4:39

  • When Leaders Stop Leading And Become Followers: It’s like the sheep leading the shepherd
    Sep 20 2020

In this podcast the Living Epistle Project Radio Program discussed "When leaders stop leading and become followers! It’s like the sheep leading the shepherd."

    Exodus 32:1-6 *Golden Calf*

The Israelites demanded Aaron build a god - Aaron made a golden calf out of their gold Jewelry.

This is similar to the dire times we currently find ourselves in; where church leaders tailor their sermons according to the temperature and likes of the congregation, instead of preaching just on the Word of God.

Have the leaders become followers of spiritual babes?

    See 2 Timothy 4:1-5

    See Exodus 32

    See Joshua 24:15

  • Confidence And Faith In God Can Help Us Maintain Peace While Transitioning From Seasons To Seasons
    Sep 27 2020

To everything, there is a season, A time for every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1

    Transition, transition!

If you were given life, from the day you were born you have been transitioning. The human has transitioned from childhood to adolescence to adulthood and to old age. We have also transitioned through other matters in life such as education, career, parenting, health, success, failure, and more.

The Christian is not exempt from transitioning from one point to another. Sometimes we transition to what we perceive as a good or bad season.

In 1 Kings 17, Elijah transitioned from hiding in a cave; whereby, he was fed by a raven ordered by God to feed him, given a brook by God for water to receive meals from a widow he didn't know.

God can more than get us from one season to another. Our confidence and faith in God can help us maintain peace while we transition from one season to another.

    Tune in and listen!

  • The Grace Conversation: God's Grace Is Fundamental To The Christian
    Oct 11 2020

    The grace conversation...

God's grace is fundamental to the Christian and his/her walk with the Lord. It is the oxygen that gives us the ability to still be considered holy while we proceed to die to the flesh daily.

One of our hosts was thinking about God's wonderful gift of grace this week. That while we were yet sinners He sent His only Son to die so that we might live. We did not deserve or earn this gift. He gave it to us freely.

Romans 3: 23-24 declares, ...All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Being justified freely by His grace thru the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

What does the grace of God mean in our lives? How are we living? In Isaiah 43:25, God says. I, yes I alone will blot out your sins for My sake and will never think of them again.

Does knowing that as Christians we are redeemed give us a license to sin because we know or believe God will forgive us? How does God's grace work in our lives?

There are so many aspects to it.

What is grace exactly, what does it do, what does it look like and what is its purpose?

The Bible answers all these questions. See Titus 2:11-14,

    Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Luke 13:3, Romans 6:4, Matthew 3:8, 2 Peter 3:9, John 3: 5,16, 2 Timothy 1:9, Galatians 5:13-26 and Proverbs 24:16

Grace saves and enables us to live the life of godliness we are called to live after accepting Jesus Christ.

To understand grace, we must understand repentance, the life we are called to live, and the purpose of grace.

Tune in as we discuss God's grace!
