  • Season 1 - Top tips for making family friendly & affordable meals

    Let’s face it, if somebody were to say to you that they want to start eating better, “cleaner”, healthier, the first thing that runs through your mind is that pictures of plain chicken breasts, plain steamed veggies, plain salads, no sauces or condiments, and restricting certain food groups… But it doesn’t have to be like that – in fact it shouldn’t be like that – not if your goal is life long health and sustainability!!

    The other thing that is associated with “healthy eating” is that it’s expensive and eating meals different to your family which also means extra work. But I’m going to share a few tricks of the trade to not only make meal times more enjoyable, but to also get the family involved and cut down on your weekly grocery bill! Imagine having healthy & delicious meals at your disposal for only a few dollars each!!

  • Season 1 - Conquering mindless eating

    You know that feeling – going to the pantry or fridge and opening the doors and just to stare blankly into them looking at what you can eat…. It’s like you just have this urge to want to put food in your mouth – slices of cheese, biscuits, chips, lollies, chocolate…. And the funny thing is, you’re not even sure if it's hunger!!!

    In this episode, I will be talking about my experiences with this and how I overcame the urge to keep stuffing things in my mouth just because it was there!!
