He has worked with notable organisations such as SEC, KAUST, Lockheed Martin, and the Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia with a focus on localizing mechanical part manufacturing and adopting industry 4.0 technologies. With a PhD in Polymer Processing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Al-Zain has also founded two tech-based businesses in the industrial and healthcare sectors, contributing to transforming Saudi Arabia into a knowledge-based economy.
