    Terri Williams, CFP®️ is a financial literacy advocate with over thirty years’ experience in the financial services industry.

    Prior to retiring in 2017 as Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility at Scotiabank, Terri held several senior management roles, including Vice President of Marketing, Global Wealth Management and Commercial Banking at Scotiabank. She was also President of the Ontario Securities Commission’s Investor Education Fund (IEF), where she led the development and implementation of several financial literacy resources and programs. As a financial journalist, Terri has written on financial and consumer issues for numerous publications.

    She is currently an independent consultant, and a volunteer Board Member of the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education and Abbeyfield House Society of Lakefield. She also serves on the OSC’s Seniors Expert Advisory Committee and writes a senior-focused Mature Living column for the Lakefield Herald, and chairs the Editorial Board for The Women’s Collection.

    Alison Hummel is a Grade 8 teacher in the Halton District School Board and mother of six month old Oliver.  Alison received her teaching degree from Lakehead University in Orillia after earning her certificate as a Child and Youth Worker from George Brown College in Toronto.  Alison is also the founder of Loved by Ollie Handmade which sells all natural baby teethers via Instagram.
     
    Bev Moir, BScN, MHSA, is a retired wealth advisor who built and led a successful wealth advisory practice over twenty-five years.  She incorporated financial expertise with her health care background, adding the dimensions of life, health, and wellness planning to clients’ perspectives of their financial needs. Financial literacy and empowerment for clients and their children was a goal of her comprehensive approach to client service.

    Before joining Scotia Wealth Management, Bev worked in various academic health care settings as a registered nurse at the bedside, a nursing manager of a coronary care unit, and health administration at Women’s College Hospital and The Hospital for Sick Children.  She served on the boards of Women’s College Hospital and the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
