  • High Brau Taphouse
    Mar 17 2022

In this episode I talk to Ben Harmelink of High Brau Taphouse in Greeley. We discuss the Colorado Beer scene (pre and post COVID), the distribution models of many of the local breweries, and the history of a few styles through the lens of our local examples.

We drank a flight of four beers from around the state featuring; Bierstadt's Slow Pour Pils, Westbound & Down's Nitro Oatmeal Porter, Purpose's Smoeltrekker #009, and OCC Brewing's Nelson Dry-Hopped Saison. High Brau is a taphouse after my own heart, and maintains each beer style at its proper temperature in their specially sectioned beer cooler. We had each style the way it was meant to be drank!
