  • Part 3 - The Implications and Application of CRT
    Sep 16 2022

After an extended hiatus, we are back with what should be (*gulp*) our last episode on social justice.

    ANNOUNCEMENT:

An Evening with James White – Discussing Covid, Church and Government; followed by a dialogue with local pastor, Josh Miller

    Tuesday, September 20 at 6PM

Living Hope Church, 3030 Schoolhouse Road, Middletown, PA 17057

Sponsored by The People of the Covenant Podcast

We continue to review a few more examples of critical race theory and social justice as applied in a practical sense in the church. In this episode, we discuss the divisive concepts created under the heading of social justice such as ‘Christian Nationalism’, colonized Christianity, the use of identity politics in the church, and a full-throated endorsement of the concept known as ‘White Fragility’.

  • Part 2 - The Implications and Application of CRT
    Apr 4 2022

We continue to unpack more examples of critical race theory and social justice as applied in a practical sense in the church. In this episode, we see these ideals applied in the context of churches, seminaries, and culture in a broader sense. Is it a good idea to insist on a cultural represnetation in literary con tributions? Is it biblical to assume that all white people are racist, simply based on skin color? Is it accurate to say that the racism is more dangerous today than in the civil rights era in the 1960's? We take on these questions and more in this episode.
