This week on The Pod Charles Cinecast, presented by The Prince Charles Cinema, our hosts Jonathan Foster and Fil Freitas begin the tasks of tackling one of the greatest trilogies of all-time – a collection of films that always show at The PCC, that we have somehow never talked about – Peter Jackson's THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY!

Join us, as over the next few months, we'll dive into each film from the trilogy adapted from J.R.R. Tolkien's high-fantasy novel series, kicking off first with THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING. This will be our first two-parter episode, as this week we will dive into the history of the series, it's prior attempts at getting made, and how Peter Jackson got the series off the ground. We'll be back next week with Part 2, as we dive deeper into this film. The following two films will be single episodes released on a monthly basis.

There was more to Billy Bob Thornton's phobias than we could even imagine. The man is a freak, who believes that mythical dragons existed, and are still roaming the world in the form of the Komodo dragon. When he's not looking over his shoulders, fearing that today just might be the day that a Komodo dragon attacks, he is probably going to be found watching his favourite TV show, My Little Pony.
