The philosophy of "Ma" is deeply rooted in Korean culture, drawing from Buddhist, Confucian, and Taoist thought. At its core, "Ma" represents the idea that emptiness is not an absence or lack of something, but rather a presence that can be utilized to create emotional tension, balance, and harmony.
