  • As Long as It Makes You Happy, then You Can be Whatever You Want - Bailey’s Corner

    Love and support are power. They can either make or break a young child’s life. For parents, having these two things can create a big difference in raising their children. 

    By loving them for who they are and supporting them in what they are going through in life because every beautiful human deserves to be happy whatever gender they take or path they choose to walk. 

    In today’s episode, we have Bailey Latronica, also known as “baayfree,” who is a magazine writer and a proud genderqueer, to share their very unique, inviting in story. Bailey talks about their childhood liking girls in a tiny town, how ze come out to the whole family, and the initial reaction of people around when they walk out of the closet.

  • Dealing with Shame Culture as a Queer Indian Immigrant - Kevin’s Corner

    Most queer folks are afraid of spreading their colorful wings to the world because they feel pressured, unsafe, unsupported, and not celebrated. For Kevin, these are some of the reasons he kept lying, hiding his true self, and exploring in secrecy until one pivotal moment happened to him. 

    Kevin Shah also known as “Captain Empathy” is a beautiful queer person of color that helps promote empathy and shares that anyone can learn the superpower of empathy and become captain empathy themselves.

    In this episode, Kevin get really raw and vulnerable in sharing his coming out story, the fear and shame of being seen as gay by his community, the pain of hiding his colorful personality, and the initial reaction of his Indian family to his coming out. He also talks about the importance of being true and having empathy in finding your purpose in life.

  • Being and Loving Yourself is Being a Good Person - Megs Corner

    What is your definition of a good person? Does being a good person mean following the rules even if you know inside that you're hiding your true feelings and emotions? 

    For Megs, being a good person is being and loving yourself. Accept who you are no matter how different and extra you can be. Be a good person to yourself first before being good to others.

    In this episode, Megs shares her inviting in story, the distress she felt trying to figure out how to navigate her situation as a young queer, her heartbreaks, and the reaction and response of her family to her queerness. She also gives advice to young queers and parents who struggle to accept and love themselves.

    Megs Pulvermacher is a proud queer, entrepreneur, podcast host, and school psychologist. She is one of the best queer connection facilitators in the game. Meg's dream is to bring the coolest people together to share ideas, think big, and have an incredibly fun time.

    LGBTQ health discrimination is a serious topic that needs to be addressed in our society. Every human being has the right and privilege to have better health assistance. Martha De la Paz is a trans woman and an LGBTQ rights and health advocate. She is helping on educating people about sexual orientation and gender identity.

    In today’s episode, Martha shares her story of coming out and acceptance as a trans woman living in a predominantly Catholic society, the Philippines. She talks about how she met a group of people called Dollhouse that educates her about trans gender. Martha also speaks about LGBTQ health rights and gives her message to the parent and children who are struggling with acceptance.
